Why Would You Use 5 Instagram Accounts?

I am a huge Instagram user, and about 90% of my traffic to my WA site comes from Instagram. I now have over 100k total followers. This is not about boasting, because I have about 20 followers on Pinterest and at last count, 2 on Twitter!! I simply know Instagram better than anything else, so that's where all my attention goes. And naturally, where nearly all my sales come from.

One question a lot of people ask me about Instagram is 'why would you use 5 accounts?' My answer is always 'why wouldn't you?' Instagram gives you 5 accounts from one phone. You need different email addresses for each but you can flip between all 5 easily from a drop down menu on your phone once they're set up.

There are 3 simple reasons I use Instagram (5 accounts).

1. It's the fastest growing social media platform and is still free to play (as opposed to FB)
2. You can have 5 accounts, which means you can target 5 different sets of people. FB only allows one personal acct.....
3. I'm good at Instagram.....people always talk about having a social media plan across all platforms. I disagree with this. I don't want to spend time learning Pinterest/Twitter/Snapchat/etc when I can really nail down one.

Think about it, we give our kids every opportunity to try out lots of things when they're young. Then when they find something they like, we let them focus more energy and attention on that. We don't ask them to keep doing things they don't like once they've found their passions.....

So if we find a social media platform that works really well for us, why not become a ninja at that one, instead of being 'not so great' at 5 or 6? I would much rather spend all my attention on 5 Instagram accts than on one account from 5 different platforms.

That's just me, but it's something to think about if you feel like you're overwhelmed with so many people telling you to spread yourself across everything.

Just remember, if you do go down the Instagram route (which I'm happy to help you with) you can't put your WA affiliate link in your profile bio. And even if you have 5 accts, you can't put the same URL for all 5. It's best to put 2 to your main site, then use capture pages or other redirects for your other 3.

I hope this gives you some food for thought. There are many ways to skin a cat. You just gotta find what works for you.
