Shhh! They Don't Know I'm Here!
After a good night's sleep and a solemn promise that my brother and I would sit down and knock some stuff out with his business this afternoon, and after doing my invoicing and some client work, I ran upstairs to see how the nephews were doing and lo and behold both are off with friends off to see the new "Mr. Peabody" movie with them.
I suddenly found myself with a whole heady half hour of me-time. So where am I?
At the best community in the world, that's where!
I'm really missing my daily cuppa "Can-do" attitude from all of you here at Wealthy Affiliate. Kim's business is getting there, but it's a huge undertaking and it will be a while yet before my time is fully my own again. I am enjoying it, though. He's my favorite youngest brother ever (notice how I hedged there with the term "youngest") and I love getting this off the ground with him. And, truth be told, it may be doing me some good, because unless things stay fresh I sometimes start to fret and begin trying to kick over the traces of daily routine, no matter what those traces may be.
I am trying to do this very quietly so the rest of the family isn't aware I am actually home; when my sister-in-law told me where the kids had gone, I told her it was just as well because I needed to go see a client anyway, and that is true but there is no reason they have to know exactly when that is.
So I think I'll roar around WA for a few minutes and see if I can help or just put my two cents' worth in, and I just wanted to let you all know how happy I am to see you! I am smiling a huge smile right now, just thinking of you all.
Don't tell the family I'm here...

My brother is developing a special warning system and now it's time to start the really fun stuff--tweaking the finished product and creating a sales platform. Plus my job and crazy family life. Life is sweet. Poor, but sweet.
I always love reading your stuff. I feel your pain. As the mom of two young boys, I usually "hide" for a few minutes whenever I can. Hope you weren't discovered. I know the feeling... love but "ugh" when it's finally time to show up again. Thanks for visiting us!
Yes, I am. Especially right now; at first it was so nuts I kept feeling like my hands were slipping off the wheel, if you know what I mean. But the work involved is more organized currently, so we actually have some sense of direction. I'm grateful my brother is letting me help--it's really exciting to get a new business off the ground.
You've no idea how much I appreciate reading a reader. Beautifully executed, engaging with a feeling of mischievous, playful conspiracy of hush. Love it. Think I'm going to read it again.

Wow! What a lovely comment. Now I'm sorry I didn't go back and fix that muddy sentence at the beginning. Thank you so much, Oscar.
