2 Years walking at Wealthy Affiliate
Yay!My turn to jump into my third year at Wealthy Affiliate.
What a ride it has been!
Seriously - I never thought I would experience this day and to be able to celebrate 2 whole years at Wealthy Affiliate.
Well two years is nothing in the scheme of things.
They have been like a fast blowing wind. Sometimes calm and sometimes like a tornado.
So
What can I say to everyone who is thinking of joining or have just joined this amazing community? Actually I do not know where to start.
Why did I start at Wealthy affiliate?
I started for several reasons.
Learning about affiliate marketing.
How to create my own website and monetize it.
Take my life into a new direction.
It was a scary decision to try something new
I had a huge hunger for learning, but I felt really scared jumping into an industry I knew nothing or extremely little about.
I followed the footsteps of many marketers who have been walking on this platform before me.
My knowledge of Affiliate marketing was zero
No expert in anything.
Not very technical
Scared of putting my head out there
Do not think - Just do it
I knew if things were to change - I had to change.
I had listened to personal development videos on You Tube of Jim Rohn, Tony Robbins, Dean Graziosi and Brendon Burchard.
They all said the same - you need to take action. Nothing will happen without action.
So I took action. I started and I followed this blueprint.
Making a website
After two years I have been documenting my process here at Wealthy Affiliate.
I have made some websites, but my main website is still growing and gaining more authority as the days goes by.
I monetized it thanks to the bootcamp here at WA and a lot of help from this wonderul community of likeminded people.
I learned SEO and how to use the Jaaxy Keyword search tool.
Never feel alone
One of my biggest fears was to sign up and discover I would not get the help I needed. I need things with a teaspoon from the start, just like a baby,
Once I understand how things work I am pretty much self going.
Although I needed quite some help from support with tech stuff.
They are the hidden gems that keep your website up to date and always helpful.
But the community here is so awesome. Always someone to connect, share and discuss with and get help from. You never feel alone here.
I made referrals
I never forget my first referral. Only 9 days into WA i got my first one. Getting the first referral is the best feeling ever.
Making sales
I learned how to partner up with Affiliate networks and programs.
Not many months later I made my first tiny sale.
I remember staring at the inbox all day - Yay - You got a commission!
How cool! I knew this blueprint was working. If I could make one sale I could make lots more.
I have a vision
I had a vision and I created a plan to achoieve it. Wealthy Affiliate have helped me make many milestones and goals come through. I am very grateful for this training.
Moving forward
With all the value I have aquired here at WA i feel more confident that I have got a good foundation to build my online business on. I can go forward knowing I can do this if I do not stop.
Building a Framework
This year my focus will be to focus on building my own framework.
To create my own stuff step by step and to automate more.
I have found some programs and systems I will work with moving forward to do this.
I still have not published my freebie yet. I had a plan to do that last year, but I procrastinated.
I felt I needed more time and clarity .
Affiliate marketing is so fun.
I feel so grateful that I am in an industry that is set to grow to many billions in the years to come. And I feel very grateful for being a part of this community and that I found this opportunity to create a good foundation online.

Thanks for sharing your success with us. It is very encouraging to hear someone else's amazing journey. I know you had to put aside all of your trepidations and I'm so happy for you. Taking that next step is so important. It truly is a leap of faith. Along this journey we need to have a spare tire and make sure our flashers work in case of an emergency. The Whole is greater than the Sum of its parts. We can accomplish more by helping others. I really believe that you can always tell a truly SUCCESSFUL person by their actions. They will share their knowledge and help others, instead of hoarding it up just for themselves. WA is living proof of that, for sure.
I have always been led by my gut, and since day one, I know for sure that this right here, the Wealthy Affiliate Platform, is The Real Deal.
As we all work together, veteran affiliates helping newbies, eventually, newbies will be oldbies - if that's a word, and will, eventually, pay it forward, helping the next incoming generation.

To be fair, I actually thought you had been at Wealthy Affiliate longer! However, I guess that is because you are reasonably active on this platform and you have documented the process.
I know that you have been working hard and you have been taking deliberate action. It's great that all your hard work is paying off and you are gaining traction.

A big congrats on your two-year WAnniversary! That's so awesome to hear.
You've come a long way and made a lot of progress. I enjoyed reading how much you've learned and taken away since starting at WA. You're someone who follows through and takes action when needed.
Sure, we might fall back or procrastinate, but not for long, we're back in the game of action. So you're doing awesome on that part.

Stepping up the third step on your value ladder.! Way to go Hilde! I am a year behind you in time. I have followed you in some of what you have done and can say that what you have built so far is great.
The basis (foundation) you have at the moment seems very good and are solidifying day by day. What is standing out in what you do is the ability to ask questions until you have clarity about what you are asking about.
This year will be the breakthrough for you. I am sure of it!

Fantastic. I am new here, and excited to get on with developing online. I get a small amount of affiliate income each month, but it is still a big lift to my confidence. I know that if I can make a few pounds, then I can make a few hundred pounds or more.
