I am creating content for my bohoyogagear.com website I have Clothing, accessories and motivation for the pages. I was under the impression when I started that you could either

Just found this. Check it out!

I know I can create a store on amazon and add it but what else would I do with my clothing page other then adding that?

Hello there!

From what I have learned here at WA, you need to first create quality content that is going to be helpful to visitors who are searching for information within your chosen niche.

Instead of focusing too much on "selling" at this point, why not you just focus on writing articles that covers various aspects of yoga? Then, after you have enough of such "informational articles", you can then decide what products you should promote, that would complement the articles you wrote.

I think it is still too early for you to join an affiliate program at this point. Your website seems pretty barren. I would advise that you do not worry yourself too much about "making money", and focus on producing helpful and educational content.

Hope that helps =)

Yes I guess I will have to change my pages and I will start from there! So thank you for the help :) I'm not worried about making money yet so hopefully I can create good content.

Sure thing, I am glad to be able to help!

All the best =)

Once you become an amazon affiliate you will have access to links and the images of the clothing you want to promote. You won't see how it works until you get there. It may also be covered in the training so look through the Classrooms content and see if you can find it.

I am a bit confused, the training was helpful until it just told me to create content and not much more... I've been browsing pages but haven't found a complete answer yet. I a

First of all you need to define your niche yoga is way too wide. You need to define it either in terms of different types of yoga such as armchair yoga, hot yoga, meditative yoga et cetera et cetera. Or you need to define it by age group or demographics yoga for young mums, Yoga for pensioners et cetera et cetera.
You need to refine your target audience, give them an age, a gender, a social status , an income things that and then give them a name and write to that one person. Tell them why yoga is useful both physically and mentally and then introduce recommendation about products that will help

sorry I guess I should have specified more, I am doing boho yoga clothing mostly and some gear so that's the type and it will be for a younger age group of women. So for my pages I had clothing, accessories and motivation thinking I could just have products on my page and not just like a blog type of site. Then pictures of poses and some explanations for the motivation page. I just don't know what I would say before recommending different clothes

I think you would say what happens when you use them from personal experience put a personal slant on it and also I would put information about that type of yoga its physical and mental benefits et cetera don't just have a review site with loads of links

what happens when you use the clothes...? I just thought it was going to be different then this

To sell somebody's stuff you become affiliate, so you get commission when people buy through your links. This all process is explained in Certification Courses. Just go through it at your speed and this will come in place.

I have been looking back but I'm sure more of my questions could be answered moving forward as I'm only on course 2, lesson 2 but I didn't want to move forward until I completed my building content task. So there must be ways to become an affiliate on every website I assume?
