It’s so good to count with such a supportive community. Thank you very much for stopping by my previous post called: “A time to write” and giving your opinion concerning the hour of the day you feel it’s easier for you to write.

Having read all these wonderful comments and pondering them all, we have arrived at some results.

62.5% of you answered that the time of the day doesn’t really matter. You write content at any time during the day.

37.5% of you responded that you have specific hours in the day to write.

Now, the group that answered that there is a certain time in the day for them to write answered as follows:

50% prefer to write at evening.

33.3% write in the morning and at evening.

16.6% write in the morning and in the afternoon.

Having an insight of what some other members do for writing content might help you as well. I have discovered very interesting things concerning writing content, based on your comments. I will just give you here a short list:

1. It will help a lot to plan what you want to write about next, and think about it during the day before. You will notice the improvement as ideas just flow when you sit down to write.

2. Your mood is quite important when it’s time to write.

3. Be prepared to draft down ideas during the day. They constitute a huge advantage.

Thank you very much Wealthy Affiliate. The sum of all your ideas bring great recommendations for all of us. All the best to you!

Nice to know Henry, thank you for sharing this and gathering the data to determine what works best for some than others.

You're welcome! Thank you for stopping by and sharing your comment with all of us. I greatly appreciate it!

Thank you, Henry, for bringing the results of your questions in such an easy to understand way. I particularly like the tips you gleaned at the end.

Hi, Anita! Thank you for your kind words! I'm very happy you liked them! :) :)

It was my pleasure, Henry!

:) :)

Henry, I could not reply soon enough to be included within your survey results. I am a very early riser. Always have been. My best creative time is early AM Monday thru Friday. And I generally have an energy surge in late afternoon.

On a personal basis, mood does not effect my work habits. In fact I generally work out anything on my mind during the day. And as a rule, if there is something heavy on my mind, I allow 24 hrs. to go by before responding to it. Prevents over reactions.

Henry, best wishes going forward.

Learning, to respond!
Takes, practice, but so, rewarding, and sure prevents the constant, "Oh, I'm, sorry!"
Barb...apology for living...

Thank you very much for your comment! I also believe that the best hours of the day for creative and productive work are in the morning.

And I totally agree with you: we can’t allow mood to affect our work habits. Our life would be a mess if we do. A good mood may help us write better, but I personally believe that saying “I’m not in the mood for writing today” is not a valid excuse. :) I can personally relate to all you have expressed here, and if I could double like your comment, I would! Thank you very much!

You're young?...Family, cuts in to quiet, time...The, retiree...can, pick...not needing to schedule...
Funny...today, I'm, just compiling, thoughts...a topic, came in...and, as one put it...I've been, jotting down, flashes, as they, come...from the oddest, places. I'll, need to write tonight, though...don't want to mess with the flow...

I may just follow the majority regarding the time of day, or otherwise when I get the feeling

Hey. Yes, that is the intention of these posts, to show what works best for most WA members so that we can follow those practices. I greatly appreciate your comment. Thank you for stopping by. All the best!

Hi Henry, Glad you have us all coralled.
Jae

Hi, Jae! Thank you!

Looks like I am late to the party but I do most of my writing at night lately. I have many ideas already mapped out in SiteContent. During the day I'll pick which one moves me and then start thinking of ideas and doing some research. Around 6 or 7pm I am in writing mode. With a cup of coffee of course.

Mood is very important though and you can see it in the quality of your writing. I have had a few articles I didn't post until the next day because I didn't quite feel what I written. Needed to get fresh eyes on it to make any adjustments.

Hi! Thank you very much for sharing your insight with all of us. How you build content may also be useful for other Wealthy Affiliate members. I greatly appreciate the details and I totally agree with you: mood is very important for the quality of our writing. Thank you so much for this comment. All the best!

I, held, back, early writing, as well, Chris, and then, when I felt, it was appropriate...I posted. I, allow myself, to detour, as many messages, will, come, during the day, which, change, my Head-set.
Just, yesterday...I, put another, on hold...as, this topic, fit better, in-between, the 2 ...I, don't do any outlining...it sniffles, the flow. What I will, do, is, make a couple of notes...to, be included, whenever appropriate, during my writing. Main, points, and songs, that pop-in!...Even, those, are subject to change.
