You may have heard the term “to curate content”. What does this really mean?

🔥 It is simply repurposing existing content with your spin on it. 🔥

There is so much fantastic content out there on the internet through the various social media platforms and the millions of blogs that are written every day you don’t need to come up with your own ideas.

And let's be honest pretty much everything there is to know about your niche has probably already been written about on the fabulous world wide web.

✅ As a committed entrepreneur you are probably trawling the internet, you are learning new skills here at WA, you are reading other people’s blogs or even just social browsing in your downtime.

✅ When you come across a post, a blog or a video that resonates with you save it so you can find it later.

✅ Even better if you find content that has massive engagement whether that be a FB post or a Youtube video with huge views save that too. It is obviously content that people want to see.

✅ Use these gems to spark your imagination, write it from your perspective, put your spin on the information.

Obviously DO NOT copy and paste … that is not curating content❗️

You will never run out of ideas and after not very long you will have your own body of work that you have written which is uniquely yours to draw back on.

How do you find ideas for your blogs and social posts❓

Are you curating content and if not will you be now❓

This is great advice! I find it inspiring to learn from a variety of creators, and I think we can all come up with new ideas when we combine the knowledge we gather. I always give credit to the creators who've had an impact on me, and I find that having an abundance mindset when sharing the work of others comes back in abundance to me. Great post!

Such great idea. There is an endless supply of information, if we are prepared to take the time to look for it.
I am a 'note taker', which means that if anything comes to mind as I am reading (or at any other time) I write it down.
Periodically I will refer back to these notes and then wirte about whatever is was I had written.
Occasionally, I can't remember what the 'point' of the few words was, which can be frustrating. Nowadays I try to qualify them more.

Me too Twack, especially when I am reading a book relevant to my niche. I paraphrase the idea in one sentence and then when I refer back to it it seems a tad cryptic 😂 and I wonder why I thought that was worth keeping!

As you say better more thorough notes would help 😁

That made me chuckle, it's not just me then.

Great post again !
I get my ideas about vitamins from the fact that I have been taking them since I was 19 and December I will 70🤯
They use to call me the vitamin nut, now I'am kind of thinking that should have been the name of my site.
So I talk about how they have helped me personally and also what is written in the internet about them.
Some things I have taken are not vitamins but home remedies like 3% hydrogen peroxide for beating a cold by putting a capful in each ear for 2 minutes.
It must be working I have not had a cold in over 7 years.
This is what I write about and many friends and clients have taken my tips and have had good results.!
The problem is sitting down to put them into a blog when I have time and to make my site more attractive cause I am a little ignorant when it comes to using computers 🙄
Smart phones are a lot easier to use.
When they come out with a robot that will compute my ideas I will be the first to buy one😎👌
Thx again😁

You can load your wp editor into your phone and write a blog from there John.
Mark

Yes that's a good idea but a lot smaller format . I have done some posts that way 😎👌

Excellent👍

Nothing beats experience John, and being able to write directly from what you know is much easier. For many starting out they need a bit of an extra helping hand and finding quality content can seem daunting at first but it doesn't need to be.

Everything to say about everything has already been said by somebody. If you don't curate content you won't have anything to say

Agreed Neil, and that's OK because although the information has already been done, and in some cases done to death 😂, it's never been done with our unique spin on it.

Great ideas thank you

You are very welcome Dorrie
