I just signed up and I need to cancel. I purchased on impulse and I am not able to afford it at this time. How do I go about receiving the refund?
Hi - as the others have said, there are no refunds as stated in the terms and conditions of the platform. Only Kyle can make an exception to this.
You were not obliged to upgrade and could have stayed as a free member for as long as you wanted. I wish you well for the future
I made a stupid impulsive decision to upgrade. A major issue I need to work on.
But the fact that this company does not give refunds shows they are a not a good company.

The program does work, so, if you don't get a refund, why not use the month you have paid for to learn as much as you can about affiliate marketing?
You have full access to everything on the platform including 120 lessons of core training, hours of live webinars and the opportunity to communicate with the successful members who are earning 5 figure sums every month.
You can cancel your subscription by clicking on your profile photo, going to account settings and membership. Click cancel billing. This will ensure you don't get charged for a further month.
Unfortunately I upgraded as you mentioned so it’s not a monthly plan. So I’m screwed. I didn’t realize when I upgraded that I was locked in with no option to get out. I would have remained a free member. I didn’t realize because I’ve never encountered a company that doesn’t offer a refund especially when you cancel less than 24 hours.

They seem to leave that part out. Yes I’m sure it’s in the tiny print. But that’s all. I’ve never ever encountered a company that doesn’t offer refunds. They must not be successful. Hi - that is an unusual situation. I was under the impression that it was not possible to go straight from being a free starter to a yearly payment. It should be that you have to take the first month at $19, to ensure that you have time to fully evaluate the program, before going yearly.
So, I do have some sympathy for your situation. How did you contact Kyle? Was it by Private Message? If so, do be aware that he receives literally thousands of messages per day, so it may be a while before he gets back to you. It can sometimes be quicker to add a comment to his profile page. Or did you also try the email address that Tony provided? Support@WealthyAffiliate.com
I know it doesn't help right now, but when entering into a large financial transaction, you really should take the time to read all the small print.
I replied to Kyle’s message to me. I also sent a message on the support link that Tony provided. I realize this now. It’s my impulsive behavior that I need to majorly work on 😏. But they should put this information where you sign up for any upgrade from free.
If you add a comment on Kyle's profile page, he may get to it quicker. I notice he was answering questions on there 19 hours ago, and he generally tries to catch up every day. He has also mentioned to another member that he won't be getting to his private messages until tomorrow.

You can cancel but you won't get a refund. Your membership will run until the paid period is up, even if you cancel now.
Are you serious? That’s awful. That’s not a good company then. That they won’t give refunds .,
Ask Kyle directly and he will tell you for sure, but you had time to decide before you had to pay so you weren't pressured into anything. But see what Kyle says
