Blogs Have Minds Of Their Own
Since I have started with WA, I have learned more about myself and my abilities than I have in the last 5 years. I never knew that I could pound out anything that was decent to read. I had no clue that I had artistic web design ability. I had no clue what SEO was until I started the training. You know what I recently learned??
BLOGS HAVE A MIND OF THEIR OWN.
No, I am not trying to say there is a hocus pocus ghosty in my computer.
I am trying to say that a blog/webpage/webdesign is not just a platform. It is a living breathing entity within US, the writers and designers.
How many times have you sat down at your keyboard to write one thing and something completely different came out? For me, it has been darn near every time. I have changed my design on a whim (devine blog inspiration) at a rate that I stopped counting. In fact, I had no clue what I was going to write in this blog until I sat down and started typing!
I guess what I am trying to say is this..If you think you have writers block, It might not be true. Writers block might not exist. You just might need to sit down, take a deep breath, and TYPE. Deep down, you (your blog) knows what to say and how to say it.
Stop getting in your own way. Your readers will be thankful for it.

I start to scribble when I feel "blocked." I just open a word processor and start spewing out random thoughts. Then, after two or three pages, I start looking for a common theme and pull those together. Eventually, I get it down to a good post. I rarely have a lack of things to write about, though. Good post!
That is a great brainstorming technique! I am going to start getting my blog post titles from a sentence and start from there. It seems to work for me if I can at least come up with a title and let it snowball. :) thanks!
