When it Comes to overthinking, I'm the King!
I'm a fairly contemplative guy. For the most part it serves me well in life, but when it comes to something like choosing a domain for a website, that particular personality trait becomes a more than a little frustrating.
I'm on day two of running domain searches and I still haven't pulled the trigger. I know in the long run the domain doesn't matter too much, but I want to brand and the domain to match, and I think branding is important.
Need someone to reach through the screen and slap me into making a decision.
Any takers?

Don't worry or overthink just start writing content for your blog. No action is your enemy. Everything will fall into place.
Thanks. I bit the bullet on a domain and got the About me and Privacy Policy posted this afternoon. You can check it out at www.bnbglampworld.com
From Bob Newhart, two words.
Stop It! Lol.
I love that skit, where the woman is scared of being buried alive in a box.
Then at the end of the skit Bob, okay. I got 10 words for you. You might want to write these down. You ready?
Stop it or I will bury you alive in a box.
Haha.
Good luck buddy,
Thanks for the kick, Cali. I took the plunge with [bnbglampworld.com] . My niche is about building glamping sites to host airbnb or vrbo rentals. I also bought bnbglamper.com
Hi - see if these posts help. Advice on Choosing a Domain Name More Advice on Choosing a Domain Name
Thank you Diane. I did find those helpful. Hadn't even considered the crossover to social media platforms. Couldn't find any available on FB, but found a couple that were available most other places.
You'll find the one that you want, Haven! I have about 18 domains purchased right now! Some are in use, but others are parked!
Take your time, but don't wait too long, since someone could spirit away one of them. That has happened to me vefore!
Jeff
True, I understand that the sites will look at the searches and buy up the names one is looking for in hopes of flipping it later.
Yuppers, kind of why I like the free sites WA offers, one can play for a minute, if it works out great, get the domain. If not, great pratice. and now my new way of thinking is, for 15 bucks, you know half a tank of fuel in the motorcycle, you got a domain name.
Your motorcycle must have a huge tank--oh wait, your fuel is a lot higher there--mine only takes about $5 to fill. I used to call it the price of a meal, but those have doubled now under the current regime!😳
You are still right in the analogy though, Zam Man!

Never over complicate things and keep it as simple as possible Haven...
It's the content that ranks and not the domain name my friend!
