I was just about to close WA for the day. I had a day off work and so I spent a good chunk of the day completing trainings and creating a second post on my niche website.

Then I became discouraged, although I'm not sure why. I had a rough past week at work, and it's gloomy and rainy outside. Something was just making me feel a tad depressed and like I was writing another post for nothing,

I do like my niche

Don't get me wrong, I do like my niche. I chose it after all. But while I was writing the post today I felt a bit forced. I actually had to step away for a bit and come back to it when I had clearer mindset.

Sometimes I forget that the posts on my website do not require technical or sophisticated writing. I just need to write like I would speak so that it's easy for people to read. We all like to read things that are easy, right? :)

Then I got my notification!

Out of nowhere the 'new badge' icon popped up on my screen. I simultaneously received an e-mail. Only two posts and I'm indexed on google! I'm not 100% sure what this means yet, except that my website could ACTUALLY (potentially) have an audience.

That means I'm not writing for nothing, I'm writing for people to read it.

My head is now up and I think I'll carry a different attitude this evening. Hopefully this encourages someone else to keep going as well!
