Three secrets and a skin of Iron

I was composing a Blog today on the three secrets of blogging.

Sometimes when you are writing life takes an unexpected turn and that's why I just love what we do.

The first secret of course is keywords without which you will not be read.

To describe Keywords and traffic I picked a small niche that I could use to explain going to Long tail words.

The niche was Blacksmith a trade long past however with a traffic count of about 6000 a month and a competitive score of 220 listings. Far too hard to rank in.

I then decided on a town so I randomly chose Idaho in the USA .

However that was not descriptive enough so I Googled the capital city of Idaho (Remember I am 6000 miles away and know nothing about this) and found Boise as the city.

Now blacksmiths in Boise Idaho is a pretty good search term thought I.

My second secret is the Meta description.

If your meta is not inspiring the best keyword in the world still won't work. I discussed the Meta for a bit and then looked for a good example.

"YOU CANNOT DREAM YOURSELF INTO A CHARACTER, YOU MUST HAMMER AND FORGE YOURSELF ONE" JAMES FROUDE

This to me is sheer poetry, "His skin is made of steel and his heart burns like coal"

Now I don't know if Harry wrote this or a professional but I just love this because you have to click in and that is what your Meta description is for.

I just needed to share this with you because i liked it so much
