I have seen sites where this was happening. It has nothing to do with the site. I left the site because it was annoying. Now, I know what was going on.
Is this Infolinks? You can edit how they show on your site, from within your account with them. I'd deactivate it and delete it from your site. You may have added this as part of the training and forgot about it. You don't need it and the ads are often not related to your niche. I also think that they turn most people off. If it is Infolinks you are talking about, I took it off my site.
Had the same thing on my site...turned out to be a little software program that piggy backed in on a pc update...right click on it and see if you get a delete or remove option.

Yeah the ad on site...if that doesn't work look for anything that will give you the name of the program or a way to remove it...can't remember but i think i had to go into remove programs to get rid of it.

Annie may be right, it may be infolinks. I signed up while I was following the training and deleted it because it made my posts look spammy to me.
