I was able to download the picture I want but not able to put it on webiste. What am I doing wrong?
You need to go to your "media" option under your Dashboard. Once you click on it, click on the Add New option. Once there, simply click on the Upload File>>> and then click on the next option "Select File". From there, click on the location where you stored the picture on your computer. Hope this helps!!

Do you mean your website header image? If yes, go to Appearance – Customize. Look for the setting for your header image. There will be a button to change your current header with a new one.
