Add sharing buttons to your website or blog

Hi Guys, I've been looking at quite a few premium members websites, most of them have a bank of sharing buttons around the footer. After a bit of digging I have found 2 methods of adding buttons.

1) Go to settings/down the bottom you will see sharing/ from there you are able to drag as many buttons as you want to the visual area. I have twitter/facebook/G+/Tumblr/pinterest and StumbleUpon. You can also tick to show them on all your posts and pages.

2) Go to Plugins/add new and type in share buttons, you will see a list, pick one that you like and follow the set up directions.

Hope some newbies like myself find this information usefull

I use both Expound and Mon Cahier Themes, the buttons work on both themes.

Hi Jimmy, I assume your sites are not live, the above links are not working. Nice post mate, good info. Let me know about the sites so I can have a look.

Struggling...can you help? Under settings I only see the following choices: General, Writing, Reading, Discussion, Media, Permalinks, Akisment. Am I looking in the right place for sharing? Thanks!

On each post, on the right sidebar you will see a visibility tab. This determines who can see the post. You can also enable or disable comments at the bottom.
Your theme may not support the share button settings.

Hey, thanks for your help. I was able to make it work with the Sociable plugin. Appreciate you reaching out.

Thanks for the explanation. I'm not quite far along enough yet but soon I will be needing that!
BTW I had a look at your web sites - they look great. I'm still in the process of learning how to make my sites, but I'll get there soon.

Good luck
