In for a penny, in for a pound.
Last year I spent an entire month and close to over a month in the state of Washington as a wildland firefighter on the Washington fire storm. We bounced all over the place from the small town of Omak/Okanagon to the 'there aint nothin here to burn!' boonies of Nespelem. Despite somewhat bad unit cohesion, I was dedicated to staying there as long as I could. My computer was on its way out back home and there was no way I could do what I wanted to on my laptop from highschool.I needed to rake in as much time as I could to build a new machine, a machine to help rake in a career and more. It's been a year now and my little universe has only raked in a grand total of $250 in photography. It's sole purpose was to be a content creation wizard. There is just one problem however and that is that I ,myself, am not a content creation wizard! I have the mind to create amazing things but the attention span of a ferret so projects get dropped quite frequently. So in the year since, I've been trying to come up with ways to make my Little universe770 work for me.
Among many a search and blog read I stumbled upon this neck of the woods of internet businessery. Wealthy affiliate, I’m very hesitant with internet ‘earn lots of money here’ schemes as they usually turn out to be bosh or at worst case so far out of my coffer reach that it’s pointless to try. $19 for a starter month? Will see how it is and if it earns that Jackson. Well a week in and I’ve started a photography site, started a twitch page, returned to my wordpress blog and I’m trying to find affiliate programs that I can do. I haven’t made anything off it yet but hopefully I can start with this one site I made and use it to fund the other two into better straits. Everyone’s been so welcoming from the head of the shop to the next novice beside me. What’s more is the program isn’t begging for more dosh than I can afford. So, in for a penny in for a pound lets see where it goes!

Hiya, welcome! There are so many costly, half-baked courses online. I know just the ones you refer to. But I'm of the opinion that we get much more than our money's worth here at WA. The comprehensive course materials, site support, community, and hosting for up to 25 sites with SSL. If I were grabbing these elements from a variety of sources, it'd cost so much more for me than WA in total. I think as you move through the resources it'll start to sink in. Have fun with it!
Just be patient, keep learning, keep working on your site, and the money will come. It may take longer than you want or expect, but it will come :-)

Nice reading. It takes time Jack and the most important thing is to follow the training and use it wisely. I've been here less than 2 months and I can only work on my site p/time so my expectations are what I would call realistic. Anyway, good luck with the photography, hope it works for ya.

You have a community of help here every step of the way and it won't be long before you remove your novice label and work towards becoming much more confident with your skill set and at some point, an expert at all of this stuff!
