Metaverse Teaching Students in the UK
I just saw on the news that there is a school in the UK that teaches with AI and an Oculus setup. It's pretty crazy looking. The guy said the student could experience WW2 from the ground. That's a little much, but can you imagine, walking the bottom of the Grand Canyon, or Climbing Mt Everest, seeing Notre Dame before the fire (tear, I cried all day), etc. The possibilities are endless.
So what do you think about this? How would feel about your child being taught with this method?

That is an interesting question. About 400 years ago, when I was in school, they used movies to teach certain things. As I recall, we loved those days. Now there are video games for lessons and video presentations for demonstrations. I think what you have described would be amazing for the kids to learn and experience. But, (and it's a big but) I believe that I would want my kids to learn how to sit, listen to another human being, take notes and figure out emotion, content, inference, etc.
