Has my Chosen niche been done to death? I wanted my niche to be like as suggested something i am interested in and something i have some knowledege and something i have more to le

There are a lot about but that's because there's a great demand for skin care products. You might want to specialise on skin care for a particular type. Eg skin care products for South American complexion is going to be different from African Caribbean or South East Asia etc. I know that I am always looking for a site that's talking to me and what I need and not just general. Just an idea.
Good luck with whatever direction you decide to go in.

BlS, Thank you that is a great idea breaking it down to a specific skin type.I am definately going to keep that idea!

Thanks,Gina

Thanks Carson ...yes there are many routes to take in skin care.... us women are rather vain so we do like our creams and potions! ha ha

haha! Keep us in the loop with how things go :)

No "niche" is overdone, you simply have to find a specific angle to tackle such a broad topic as "skin care". People who do a search for skin care in Google have no idea what they want. There are 1000 things they could be looking for.

Creams, treatments, ways to prevent wrinkles, acne cures etc...

So you need to choose a "Niche" within the skin care industry.

A niche is an audience who are looking for something specific. "Skin Care" is not specific, so dig a little more and come up with a specific topic that you can build your website about.

Carson

Thanks Carson i do realize i was being very general and did plan on targeting a more specific issue within, like wrinkles...since i seem to be getting a few ha ha ! anyway yes i guess it was just me wanting some feedback on what others thought of this niche I do appreciate it.

Thank you, Gina

OK, great. There are sure a lot of products that you can sell in the Skin Care niche, lots of physical products and creams etc that pay out large commissions. If this topic is of interest to you, then you can do very well in it. A site dedicated to something "Niche" within the skin care industry sounds promising.

Hudson's right.
Think about questions the people with skin issues might have. Think about answers you'd give them.
Think about products you might recommend, and reasons why you'd do it.
You'll find your niche sooner or later!

Hi jpesut, Yes great advice i agree people look to solve an issue, I did so myself just a few weeks back looking for information on chemical peels. I think if pursue this niche i am going to address the different procedures , treatments remedies etc that are available.

Thanks!

I wouldn't consider it overdone, maybe crowded. I would suggest that you would need to find some aspect which your competitors haven't used yet or got into. You could look for this using the keyword tools and exploring those areas with reasonable traffic and low competition as the training advises. This would enable you to break into the skin care world
Hope this helps
