About Georganne
Joined May 2012
I've been helping mothers (and others) work at home for more than 25 years.

I specialize in taking complicated business information and making it easy-to-understand. I think that's why Woman's World Magazine included me as one of America's Ultimate Experts on earning money at home.

It has always been my dream to create a hands-on way to help moms who choose to work at home. Just recently, I made that dream come true when I created Mom$Online. It is my proudest moment.

Through the years, I've had more than 100 articles published in magazines like Family Circle, Woman's Day, American Baby and Income Opportunities.
I've written 2 books that are published by Globe Pequot Press: How to Start a Home-Based Mail Order Business (4th edition) and recently, How to Start a Home-Based Business to Become a Work-at-Home Mom.

I've always concentrated on writing while others did the technical work for me. I decided that I want to be able to easily put up a website or a blog whenever I want to. That's one of the reasons I joined Wealthy Affiliate. I also want to offer my help to other members. Ask me a question about working at online or writing and I'd be happy to help.

UPDATE: My most successful blog created on WA is: FreeKindlesToday.com

My main website is: HomeWorkingMom.com
I'm excited to introduce Mom$Online here: http://MomsOnline.HomeWorkingMom.com/become-a-member

Hi Ron,

Thanks for your nice words. If you are talking about FreeKindlesToday.com, I didn't write those books. It is a listing of ebooks that are free on Amazon.com. I did write a few books, though. The traffic is good. More content will be on HomeWorkingMom.com when it launches next month.

Saw your comment in DrDraker's profile. Saw your Free Kindles site. You have great ideas about incorporating WA affiliate on any site. Filled out your popup form, which I do on rare occasions because my email inbox usually gets inundated.
Let's follow one another. Link one another on our sites maybe. But definitely help one another. Which is what we do here at the WA. A safe, legit place for everyone who wants to be online. ^_~

Thank you so much, Caylynn. I agree with you and really appreciate your comments and that you subscribed to my Free Kindles Newsletter. I love looking for the free ebooks everyday and sharing what I find. I would love to network with you. I am currently working hard on a total relaunch of the website I started in 1997, HomeWorkingMom.com. It has gone through many changes during the years, but this is big. It will now focus only on working online. It will launch within the next month. I look forward to hearing from you again.

Yes, I have a couple of books up on Kindle and have another few on the go. There is just so much time, that's the problem, right?

Georganne, thanks for your interest and encouragement. My actual 'niche" as I work on it is "to encourage and inspire".
I have a site to encourage and inspire writers and readers called "Write to Inspire" at ShirleyCorder(dot)com.
And I have another site to encourage and inspire those in the cancer valley called RiseAndSoar(dot)com.
Your kindle site started me thinking of a solution to my dilemma. I've created my WA website with the title "Read to Inspire". I'm going to take all the reviews and interviews from both my other sites and put them up on this one. So it's spreading the information without me needing to start out on another niche.
I will offer inspirational books on the site as well as continuing reviews.

Thanks for the offer to put up my ebook for free. Unfortunately that is out of my hands, as it was published by Revell/Baker and they control the sales side of things. All I can do is promote it and give links to the sales pages on Amazon etc.

Good for you, Shirley! I understand...I have two books published by Globe Pequot Press that I wish I could promote on FreeKindlesToday.com. Especially my How to Start a Home-Based Business to Become a Work-at-Home Mom.

However, you could write and publish your own Kindle! There are a lot of free and low-cost Kindle books available that explain the process. Let me know if you need some help.

Good luck!

Hey Georganne. Seems like your doing a great job with your business which is, to be honest, quite motivating! It was kinda funny when i read your update on your first website, since I'm still working on mine... Not there yet but on my way :)

Hi Dennis. Thanks for your kind words. Yes, I'm getting the fundamentals down, but I did recently hire a woman named Nicole from MompreneurMedia.com to do a more professional looking logo and subscribe box on FreeKindlesToday.com. You have a lot of help available to you here on WA. You can do it! Let me know if I can help.

Hi Georganne. You're the first person I'm choosing to follow. I wrote Strength Renewed, Meditations for Your Journey through Breast Cancer. I am also a contributing editor to ten other books to date. I am looking for a niche that will complement my two existing websites, one for writers (shirleycorder) and one for cancer survivors (riseandsoar). I'm intrigued with the idea of promoting books as I do write reviews. Well done.

Thank you so much, Shirley! I am a 2x survivor and I think the work you are doing is wonderful. Are you referring to my FreeKindlesToday.com website? If your book is a Kindle and you offer it for free on a limited basis, I'd be happy to feature it for you.

Off the top of my head, the only way I can think to combine your two niches would be to encourage breast cancer patients to write about their experiences to help them through the experience. Maybe create a site that offers free blogging space so patients can read each other's blogs. You could monetize it by offering books and products for bc patients.

Whatever you decide to do, I wish you the best of luck!

Hi Georganne, wow just a few sites then LOL...are you having luck with them....

Hi MikeyB - yes, I am having luck with them. Even though I am still learning, I can now put up a site by myself whenever I get an idea. That's what I did a few weeks ago for www.FreeKindlesToday.com and the response to this site is business-changing. I'm using the theme "Undedicated" because it is pretty easy and is Adsense-ready. I used the same theme for www.HomeWorkingMomBlog.com. How are you doing?

Hello, Georganne.

Thanks for the follow. I intend to reciprocate because you are involved in one of my areas of interest — writing. I currently work as a writing tutor for a local college (work-study) and have a passion for proofreading. However, I still consider myself a student of writing and am doing everything I can to improve my skills. Interacting with other likeminded men and women is one of my favorite improvement methods. I look forward to learning from you and others in the weeks and months ahead and offering any insights I may have to the community.

Hi Joshua,

Nice to meet you.

I have a passion for proofreading and editing too! Sounds a little geeky, but there is a feeling of accomplishment when you take decent writing and make it great! Writing promotional copy -- or anything that will be read online takes sometimes needs to break the rules to be effective.

If I can help in any way, please let me know.
