Start Fast BUT Slow Your Mind

Good day everyone! I began my journey in WA, back in late May. Earlier in that month, I was involved in the Entre Institute, which is a good organization, but their price points were waaaaay too high for me. I simply could not afford it.

Well long story short, I was doing some Googling in late May and came across WA. From what I learned in those few short moments, I immediately abandoned Entre (even went so far as to cancel the debit card that I was using for my payments to Entre) and I haven't looked back since.

There is so much to learn here at WA; it is frankly, mind boggling. But it is a good thing! No matter what your question or issue is, you can find it addressed here somewhere. You just have to look for what you need.

As I began my OEC training at the beginning of June, I was trying to soak up as much as I could. I was even taking mad notes (as I am sure that many of you have done or are doing currently), but with so much info coming at me, I just couldn't keep up, so I scrapped the note-taking endeavor. Not the end of the world, of course.

I got my website up and running and began creating my blog posts for my niche. Some days were good, some days were not so good. I have been pleased with my progress thus far, in terms of the quality of my posts. The information that I have provided thus far (with the help of AI, to be clear), I feel is valid and valuable to those persons who are also in my niche.

But then....my mind began to really race, thinking about traffic, Traffic, TRAFFIC! "OMG! How many people have visited my site already?! "

"What!!?? Only this many people have visited my website to-date?!"

"Oh man! I gotta check my GA4 stats again!" (for the 3rd time in a day)

All these types of questions swirled around in my brain. So much so, that I was frustrating myself. I was posting questions on my profile and in the chat, about why I hadn't been getting the amount of visitors to my site, that I THOUGHT I would be getting at this stage of my business.

Needless to say, my subtle ego was knocked down a few pegs by seasoned WAers, who knew that I was going down the wrong path. To be clear, it was done with professional courtesy and constructive re-direction, which I greatly appreciate!

So to those of you (especially those of you who are very new or fairly new like myself), do not get bogged down in the sorted details. Do NOT concern yourself with how many visitors you are getting to your website. At this particular stage of your online business, you must focus on only two things:

-- content, Content, CONTENT

AND

-- continued training

That's it. Everything else WILL eventually fall into place. Hope this helps anyone who is going through this right now.

Hello Paul, thanks for sharing your experience so far with WA.

I also appreciate what you speak about not bogging down too much with statistics and just go with the flow of building and training every day!

All the best with your continued successes.

Kind regards
Erica

Same to you, Erica! I have been out of the game for a bit, but I have been diving back in, for the past month.

Sounds great Paul, me too have been doing other jobs since, but I too intend to step up my game again!

All the best with your goals, keep going :)

Well said Paul! In all honesty at the beginning, I wouldn't even bother checking stats for at least the first 4-6 months!!!

Just keep learning as much as you can and pump out as much quality informational content as possible in this time!!

All the very best for the future my friend! :-)
