Oh my goodness! What a story you have shared. And a truism...as so well stated by your closing statement.
Life's ups and downs provide many an opportunity. I like to say that "Your life becomes what you choices have been. Choose wisely." You have this down pat.
Glad I am to meet you here.
Linda
Thanks for your complements. It was a lesson well learned because now I realize that the worst can bring out the best in us all if we let it.
Gavriel
Alright TRC your story is amazing but I'm not selling all my stuff. lol
Joking aside, I am happy to know you've found your mate and that you've realized probably the most important thing in human existence ... "my choices determined my results".
I wish you all the best.
ROCK ON!

Thanks "E" I really do agree with you there. Btw it was really hard getting rid of everything and starting over again. It taught me more than I ever dreamed possible. It was a real awakening.

Since you've begun you WA pursuits, what has been the most difficult obstacle for you so far?
Hello, For me it is the constant juggle of working on building websites, writing good content, and researching new stuff as well as training and commenting on the WA site. I have to set aside a certain amount of time for each aspect. Sometimes I have to set a timer in order to stay on task. For me, I tend to hyper-focus and lose track of time. This helps me to stay the course. Dave.
This is a great suggestion. Love the timer idea. It should help with the pacing of time spent to maximize its use. Good ONE!
It is so easy to lose track of time. A good example is taking 10 minutes to review emails. All of a sudden it is 45 minutes later and you are still in the emails. The timer forces you to come back to reality and move on:)
Hello Gavriel, Your story is beyond inspiring. The most difficult obstacle for me so far has been fear of not being good enough, or perfectionism. My father was a professional fiction writer back in the days before computers. I know he kept polishing his drafts and wouldn't send anything out until it was the best it could be. Though I don't have his talent, I think I must have absorbed this mindset throughout my life, starting from childhood. Writing for a website / blog is completely different. As many WA members have said, you can't try to make it perfect, otherwise you'll never get anything done. Hang in there!
Hi Amanda, I too struggle with being a perfectionist when it comes to writing and creative things. When I was much younger I had a part-time job painting the inside of houses and doing final touch-up work. I got into trouble because I was too much of an artist instead of just slapping the paint on. LOL!
Write your content and then let it sit for a while or at least one day. Do not edit as you write unless it is an obvious spelling error. When you come back to it, reread and read out loud to see if it flows and makes sense. Correct at this time then move on. You may see a mistake that you missed or you may want to add some important detail that you forgot. Do this only once if you have to. Then release it to the world. Dave.
Thanks, Dave! These are all good ideas. Amanda :-)
