A Keyword Search Question.actually two of them

1) If I take a 3 word keyword phrase and make a 6 word, article title out of it, does the keyword phrase keep it's "rich" quality?

2) By adding a coma within the 3 word keyword phrase, does that diminish the "rich" quality of it?

Many, many thanks

try to get your keywords in the front, not the back

oops, Didn't think of that. o.k. can be done.

Many thanks......Wayne

The training we have had tells us that if we use a long-tailed keyword Google will pick up on all of the words and or some of the words in the string. Therefore I would say taking a 3 word and making it 6 should not affect the quality of the string. I do not know about the comma.

Many Thanks for your help. I'm going with it.

Ey there Wayne, I may be wrong but I don't think the bots pick up on the commas. I think Google just sees the 6 words combined, a long tailed keyword.

Maybe someone will correct me or fill in the blanks on this one!

Thank you.....how about the added 3 words to my keyword.....does that dilute the keyword, or is it just as good?

1

That's a great question!!! I'm not absolutely certain, but from my own experience, I have ranked for partial long tail keywords where the bots picked out some of the words in a long tail that I was targeting.

I don't know how it all works on a consistent basis, just what I've seen from my own situations.

One way to find out partner...LOL!!!

Best wishes,

Randy

Thank you Randy.....I'll go with it. Kyle advises for the title to make complete sense. So I will.

Your 3-word keyword is still the same 3-word keyword despite adding words before it or after it... when you add a 3-word keyword in your first paragraph (for example) it is always going to be surrounded by other words to complete your sentence. If you use a long-tail keyword, you might still get noticed for a shorter keyword inside the long-tail keyword.

1

Thank you Darla......didn't think about the 3 words as they would exist anyway in the first paragraph......so, yeah, it makes all the sense in the world. And the comma I learn doesn't matter either.

Thank you again for your kind response.
