Hi I want to have a go building the 'Hiero Theme' in wordpress can anyone help point me towards any tutorials or help 'step by step' kind of help?

Cheers

Looks like you have some answers here Gary that I would give so I will leave it at that, other than to say most WP themes are pretty well the same in the initial setup and the setup site instructions in boot camp are very good, cheers Mike.

Cheers Mike , yes I 'll get going now I think

YouTube videos are available on almost any wordpress setup you need. Just query for them.

HI, when I joined WA I built my website using that theme and I think that if you follow the Affiliate bootcamp course or Course 1, you should be able to build your website on any theme you choose. It is quite straight forward although initially it may seem a little bit daunting. I did a quick check on google and found this on youtube which relates to the hiero theme and it may help
https://www.youtube.com/watch ?v= qILjxYklCWg

(remove the spaces in the youtube url - had to add them as the system wouldn't allow me to just paste it here)

Hi Vic i didn't see the boot camp , so much to explore on WA as newbie , I will have a nose at that and your youtube link thanks for taking the time to help.

Cheers

Not to worry. Yes there is a lot of training to go through. My website using the Hiero theme is the True Affiliate Wealth one.

Victoria

Hmmmm did you check their website? They usually offer some sort of tutorial on how to use their themes...
What seems to be the problem with this theme? Maybe we can help

Hi I did do quite a bit of searching on you tube and looked for Hiero in a search , I'll try again , there no real problem I built my first Themify theme a few weeks ago with a step by step guide from Youtube whcih was amazingly deataild , I was looking for something along the sames lines for Hiero , I learnt tons from having a go at the Themifly but like the look of the Hiero so wanted to have a try . Cheers

Hi I am hitting a wall with my mailchimp and cant seem get my head around it, but my question is where is my mailchimp mail going it does not seem to go to my email ? Im sure i

You can log into mailchimp and check how many subscribers you have. There might be an option to get notified when you have new subscribers...

ahh so the sign up emails go to the mailchimp site

Yes it is all managed there, you don't need to do anything.

Thanks Lynn I would like to have a go at the Hiero Theme are there any support or video tutorials you could recommend?

Umm no I don't know... lol I know that sounds terrible but I just kinda wing it and go for it. It's a nice enough theme and it works nicely for me. I don't know too much about themes. sorry!

You could make another site in siterubix and use it just to play around with and then make the changes to your real site. Just don't activate the all in one so it doesnt get indexed.

Plug ins will help with that. Kyle in his training talks about the Tweet, like plus one plugin. Or i use sumo me. You can check out my website if you want to see. myweightlossniche.com
Lots of social media plugins, try them and choose the one you like. Hope this helps.

Hi I like to know your thought on weather you think I should drive and ask people to become followers on my Linkedin Company page when I set up a blog for instance or should my

Hi Gary I like what you are saying with driving traffic to your Linkedin company page I guess I would ask the question can your linkedin page suffice as an effective primer that will lead to your company website.
I honestly feel you should set up your website have engaging content that you can use to interact with your prospective customers, answer their questions and so on. I feel it is one less step that your customers will need to go through yet it eliminates the cold landing that they would experience if they went directly to the company site.
Having a website that has at least 2 internal links per post will help your site rank better and also really engage your readers. I would also have one internal link that all posts use to direct consumers to a page that outlines your company's attributes, fee structure, mission statement, fee structure all the good stuff your company has to offer. This page will then have an external link that would take them to your company's sales page.
Once you get people to the last stop on your website ask for feedback people like to interact and that in Googles eyes is also content which helps you rank. Comments are powerful, you want comments you want to engage on your site as well as behind the scenes with a private email option, possibly down the road use your site to engage in email campaigns, offer some perk for people to leave an email address, that sort of thing it might work better on your site than trying it on the company site.
Essentially what you have done here is create your own sales funnel and by the time your traffic gets through your site they are ready to buy, it's very professional not spammy which you I am sure you want.
Not sure what your company is so I can't speak directly to how I would arrange the content but we can figure that out down the road when you get the main structure set up. Any more questions feel free to fire away, talk soon Mike.
P.S it's not good enough to rank just under your company search result you want to have a high presence everywhere that your company has relevance and you can achieve that with good keyword selection and great content!

Hi Mike wow what a wonderful reply, may I thank you for taking so much time. There is so much to think about in your reply and I have a meeting in an hour so I would just like to acknowledge your post and come back to it later in more detail if I may and explain the set up we have in Linkedin and the web site and blog . I would love to hear your opinion.
Again thank you so much for your time and hopefully speak later.

Cheers

Hi Mike and thanks again .
I had a company build my web site page and I just recently build my own blog page(web page) it was this sense of empowerment after building my own blog and endless things I can do with it now that started my journey on 'wow what's next Gary if you can do this' and why I joined WA . I want to learn it all now and implement it daily in my business, excitement is an understatement on what I see for my learning kerb in these amazing tools and vehicles for bushiness development. Sorry I'm rambling. After reading your post I now understand I really need to build my own web page as well as my blog page, i suspect I can turn my blog page into my web page and my blog page so that shouldn't take to long . I think I need to make my web page more interactive like you suggest a bit more like my Linkedin company page, I will do this over the next week. However I still cant help thinking that a lot of value may be for me to try and drive traffic to become 'Followers' on my linkedin company page .

Thanks again

How about both...an either or, that way whatever your guest prefers...they feel welcomed and that they have a way to access you and or what you are offering.

Hi yes of course both ideally but I want to finish blog posts off for instance with a call to action , I am thinking that would be the Linkedin Company page first and then hopefully they would end up at my web site as we direct them from the Linkedin company page with 'more jobs on our website' type of posts. The Linkedin company page I think (always good chance I'm wrong) is more interactive with posts and followers I think a little like a business face book page . I want to engage with them you understand,
