Is this you?
Hello lovely WA family. Hope you're having a great day, week, and year so far!
I wanted to share a quick thought I had recently when I was creating a meme for my Facebook page to support one of my websites. The idea of creating humours memes was recommended by Jay in his class on Facebook promotions (thanks, Jay).
The meme (below) is very specific to my site, which is for drama teachers. However, I then thought that it could also be relevant to all of us online business owners, especially those who are just starting out.
So, is this you?
Are you sometimes worried about getting things wrong, or asking questions you feel are too simple to our worldly wise WA community?
Or are you just a tiny bit scared of what you've undertaken?
If the answer to any of those questions is 'YES', then I'm here to reassure you that we ALL feel like that when we start. Many of us still feel like that even after we've been here for a few years. I know I do!
It's part of the journey!
So don't worry about making mistakes; we all do it - that's how we learn! And I should know because I've made more than my fair share of mistakes in all walks of life and especially with my online businesses. But they're not fatal mistakes. They're feedback!
The point is, as long as you learn from your mistakes and have the courage and stamina to keep going, YOU WILL SUCCEED! Ask questions, do your research and above all, have faith and step onto that stage!
Take it from an old drama teacher - have the courage of your convictions and do like the girl in the photo - go ahead and don't worry!
All the best
Gail

I love your post and I love your meme. I have got a lot better at asking questions. And everyone has been wonderfully helpful and I am learning a lot.

Thanks, Isabella, that's very kind. I'm glad you don't mind asking questions, as I agree, we can all learn a lot from each other. All the best, as always.

Wouldn't say that was me personally Gail, but..... I am certainly going to 'steal' it to show to some of my 'younger' English students when they feel unmotivated!! :-)
Be my guest!
Much appreciated my friend! :-)
