I assume most people have some limit on how long you're willing to wait until a site starts to make money.
How long would you wait and continue to work it?
It is a constant thing just like having your own business! Patience and persistence are key elements of any worthwhile venture.

At the moment I have three websites in different niches. My first has been going for 8 months and not doing as well as I hoped. I am thinking of slowing down on that one. I have had more luck in the other two and plan to keep up with posting and such.
I believe it would be a good idea to explore more website niches, with the assistance of AI you can speed your writing up efficiently. But there is no real set time for how long before your websites start ranking, it is a little like having a farm and you will reap what you sow! However, some fields give you a higher yield than others!
All the best,
Michael
Hello Robert
There is no way to know exactly how long it will take for you to start making money with your website. As a general rule of thumb it will take at least a few months to start making money.
But there is no way to know for sure as it can take a year or longer. It really depends on how much work you put into your website and if you are being consistent.
All in all building your own online business is something that you are in for the long haul. Consistency is key and it takes a lot of time, effort and dedication to be successful.
But you can and will be successful one day if you keep at it and don't give up. I hope this helps you and makes sense. Let me know if you have any other questions or if you need any further help. All the best to your success.
Regards
Timothy
We're here for the long haul.
There's really no definitive answer to your question, as there are many elements to the equation; no two people or two niches are the same; it depends on the focused niche you choose, the content you write, the choice of keywords, and how well you understand the process. However, I have known folks to earn their first sale in two weeks, others in three months, and more so in a few more months.

Rob,
Do you believe in your message? Do you believe in how you are presenting your message? In the online world, you need to be unique.
I am working on a post for my blog about the Unique Selling Proposition (USP). A marketing term for what is your angle. What makes you unique? I advocate "You Do You" blogging.
For example, my website is about Eliminating the Gray Apocalypse one blog at a time. I am all over Master Niche Blogging for Retirement. My message is to earn extra retirement income through niche blogging and obviously joining WA. I am my target audience. I need to earn an extra retirement income for my comfortable retirement.
I believe this message and will continue in this space for as long as it takes. I am under one year. Most businesses need a couple of years to gain traction. I see the possibilities and they are worth pursuing. I have not earned as much as I would like. My Amazon & Medium accounts are making more than my WA promotion efforts. I enjoy creating compelling content in my "spare" time, which is a MANDATORY two hours a day.
I hold the conviction that when you are chasing the money in this business, you will never catch it.
Keep the faith in your message to the world.

I guess I have to re-ask the question because I did it wrong the first time and I can't delete it.
Is anyone shopping for big Friday deals on WordPress themes? If so, is
I use Blocksy Agency, but I also have the GeneratePress premium, Divi, Oxygen and Crocoblocks. I tried the Thrive suite, but I wouldn't say I liked it.
The majority here uses the GneratePress.
I would test it first before buying in because that can be expensive.
You want to ensure they are responsive, extremely light, fast, well-coded, SEO optimized, flexible, adaptable, and customizable.
You may try GeneratePress or Premium, where you can extend the theme and have many layout templates.

I hope this helps.

Do you have a favourite wordpress theme that you use.
Either because you like the look, the simplicity or some other reason
We like Astra the free version. It is fast, has a lot of features, is highly rated, and used a lot.
Hi, yes GeneratePress theme.
GeneratePress is extremely light, fast, well coded, SEO optimised, flexible, adaptable and customisable
I agree with you on kadence. The free version has a wide variety of features only found on paid themes elsewhere. It is also faster than Astra and GeneratePress.Their support is also good and responsive even for the free version.
