Don't Want to Write
You don't have time to write...
You don't have permission to write (because the spouse is giving you a hard time)
You don't know what to write...
You don't have the motivation to write...
So many excuses not to write. But the truth is, you have to write something, almost everyday.
The best way for me to get around almost all of those excuses is to write on a pad of paper instead of a computer. Of course, I do write on my computer every day.
But for those days when the excuses outweigh the motivation, my paper serves me well for a few reasons.
1. My previous notes are there so if I don't have any ideas, it gives me some.
2. My wife doesn't see it as wasting time on the computer, it's old school paper and pen so it must be useful and constructive.
3. I can do it in front of the TV or while taking a break from other tasks thereby making it time efficient. (Yes, I can do the same thing with a laptop but you see my point.
4. If I truly don't feel motivated or organized enough to write, then I can just write down my notes and ideas for when I am motivated enough.... which, brings us back to point number 1.
Thanks for taking the time to read, I hope you find this useful

writing and reading every day is a basic to success and a thriving business you won't find any successful business owner that doesn't read and write. They do it all... daily....
now people it is always up to us if we want truly to be successful or just kidding around and actually don't want to change anything.
Great post! Writing is important.
I especially enjoyed how you shared your writing with paper and pen. I find that doing so can be both calming and empowering.
The effort we put forth to make changes and write, even when we are not 100% feeling it helps us to improve and gives us momentum, which is way important. Keep up the good work, all the best to you and yours.
Ps. Maybe you could ask your wife for help, so she could feel included, and help you write. Just throwing it out there.
