Decide to Succeed

Life will always throw you curve balls. Sometimes they will be a death of a loved one, other times it will be a bounced check. No matter what the situation, you can choose to be successful.

Tina and I have had quite a few obstacles in our path for what seems to be a ridiculous period now. They vary from illness to a bitter ex who has made it his purpose in life to cause us misery. The options are not all that many in our minds though. We know what we want and we know that WA offers it.

We have not been as active as we would like to be for a while, but we do try to get here on a semi-regular basis and greet new people and comment on sites and posts. Admittedly, we are lacking in production, and not an excuse, but a reason is the amount of time that everything else seems to be taking from us.

We have fallen into the "habit" of not being as present as we need to be, and that is a problem that we are currently addressing. The purpose of this post is to help others be encouraged that no matter what life throws at you, you still have a choice. I know that life seems harder for some than for others, but we all have our struggles and no one is better or worse or greater or more important.

My late dad shared many thoughts and ideologies with me and many stuck. "Life is personal" is by far one of my favorites. What matters to one person may well not matter to the person next to you, and vice versa. I know how things are effecting Tina and I and I know that even though we may still have several things to overcome, we will be successful here within WA. I should say continue to be successful, we have already achieved more than I would have imagined in less than a years time.

Do not allow life to suck the joy and success out of you. You can decide to succeed.
