I have a prominent image (screenshot 1) in the side bar and a link on every post (screenshot 2) and it´s in my footer. (screenshot 3) Colofon, privacy policy, disclaimer, contact, © in one line

I am unsure if quotes from, a now deceased author, can be used without permission, if so, what are the steps to getting permission?

Quotes can always be used as long as you reference where it came from. Always give credit for the original writer, or place it came from
