Hi WA Friends!
I just wanted to remind everyone that March 14th (3/14) is Pi Day because Pi (an irrational number) is approximately 3.14. Coincidentally, it's also Albert Einstein's birthday!
Although I'm no Einstein, I love everything about mathematics! Strange for a Rock N' Roll guitar player, right, but I also have multiple science degrees (see my WA profile for more).

Celebrating The Day
My wife always bakes a pie on Pi day and we have a "pi plate" just for the occasion! Sometimes, it takes longer to find the plate than to bake the pie! Lol

We make a whole day and night of it! Hey, why not? Life is short, right? Invite some family and friends to help you celebrate the big event! It could turn into a bit of a food and fun festa! (this is not AI; it's my typical foolishness, Lol).

We bought some organic cherries (from Chile) at the Whole Foods market for our pie, so I hope it tastes as good as they look!

When I was earning my bachelor's degree in chemistry, I used to hang out with the grad students in that department, and one of the things they did for fun was to compare who knew Pi to the most number of digits after the decimal point.
Lol, it's not big fun from a musician's point of view, but I could recite it to about 15 digits.

ha ha, is that right Frank. that makes the other injuries pale into insignificance. These dangerous sports are great, but they really hurt when they go wrong. Would I have it any other way, no, I'd do it all again. As they say, It's not the speed that kills you, its the sudden stop.
