Easy Table of Contents Plugin Fixed!
Hi, WA Friends!
I hope you all had a great time bringing in the New Year! Technically speaking, I'm still only two-thirds back at WA because, in the USA, January 2nd is also a holiday for federal workers. Okay, so I'm not a federal worker, but I'm a Rock and Roll guitar player; what's the difference? Haha, just kidding, but any excuse to play music instead of writing content!
ANYWAY - If you were following my previous post on the conflict between the Easy Table of Contents plugin and the GeneratePress Theme, I want to let you know that the latest Easy Table of Contents update fixes the problem.
What was the problem? Clicking on a heading in the TOC and the back-to-top of page arrow (if you had it enabled) were not working correctly. They took forever to take you to the appropriate article section (H2, H3, etc. tag) and to the top of the page, respectively.
I also wanted to say that if you still have an ongoing issue with the Easy TOC plugin and your theme after installing the update, try the Lucky WP Table of Contents plugin, which works fine with GeneratePress.

The waistline is hanging in there, but I did wear my stretchy pants over the weekend. The food was ridiculous, but I didn't go too crazy. 😎

It's good to have a TOC on your content since it creates internal links to your on-page content headings (H2, H3, etc.) and improves your SEO so that it can help your rankings! 😎
In the US, it's a Federal holiday today, so there is no mail. Retail is mostly open, but banks and the stock market are closed.

Yesterday morning my head was a little foggy. I wouldn't say "hung over," but I could definitely feel my age. I had four glasses of champagne but spread out from 3 PM to 3 AM with tons of food.
My wife made it upstairs to bed around 5 AM, but I fell asleep on the couch and woke up with a bit of a sore neck. I've never been a "drinker," and my brain is susceptible to the effects of even a little alcohol. 😎

You and I have the same reaction to alcohol.I love martini or margarita but just one drink all through out. I enjoy the sip a little at a time, and dance the spirit away, otherwise I’ll be zonked out!
I hate the woozy feeling.
When I was young, I was so curious on how some people would love to be drunk, so I want to experience it with all female friends. Four of us finished the huge bottle of Chivas Regal ! I ended up puking the entire night and has a worst hang over. Till this day, I never understood why there is problem of “alcoholism” 🤔????
Back to reality for me tomorrow in my regular job. But I have been working on my side hustle (WA), trying to figure out how to edit YouTube in my iPhone 13. Just published my first post of 2023.
Then I will have to clear out my Christmas decorations before I go back to work.

I'll have a small glass of wine with a nice meal, and that's about it.
When I lived in Italy, they drank all day. So my friends would hand me a drink, and I would take one or two sips and just leave it.
My wife and I went to the "Martini bar" on a cruise several years ago. I drank one martini and had to go back to the room to take a nap! 🤷♂️ 😎

I have the Easy TOC on my Schema Pro theme. I did notice it was a little buggy, but I had not given it much thought. I just updated the plugin this morning. I did see it is working better than previously. This made me think that this wasn't a theme issue but more like a plugin bug issue that needed fixing. I am glad they updated the bug fixes.
