Bing's Infographic Featured Image
Hi, WA Friends!
You're probably saying: "Oh, No, not another music post!," but this is different, so read on!
For those who have not seen Microsoft Bing's "Interactive Infographic" featured image (or whatever they call it) in the Bing search results, here's a peek at what it does (see, no music, at least not yet).
So, let's get started. Here is the Bing Featured Image for my article on Jeff Becks's Guitar style (oops, a little musical stuff seems to be sneaking in here).
The image below shows the featured image with the "scroll box' and the "idea button."
You can grab the scroll box and move it up to read more about what's in the article (see the red arrow below).
Now, click on the idea button (the "light bulb"), and it opens a panel on the right side with an FAQ listing. You can scroll up and down the FAQ list to select a question that interests you.
Click on one of the FAQs, and it will take you to that area of my published article. So it's very similar to the People Also Ask (PPA) in Google search.
Check out the image below to see the FAQ panel. The light bulb has now turned into an "X."
To demonstrate what happens, I clicked on the "What Guitar Did Jeff Beck Play?" FAQ (Hint: a Fender Stratocaster with a Wilkinson bridge), and it took me to my article showing the heading that corresponds to the FAQ, and highlighted the answer in lilac (or whatever color that is??, please tell me if you know).
As a sneaky ending to this post, it's "Pop Quiz" time (Eric)!
So, who is this guy?
If you answered guitar and piano virtuoso, Mike Keneally, you get to read the rest of this post (otherwise, it may self-destruct)! Yes, he's playing his Eric Clapton Signature Strat (the first version with Lace Sensor pickups) that he had painted green.
Mike played with Frank Zappa and his son, Dweezil (Zappa), and currently appears with Joe Satriani and Steve Vai.
Mike also plays in his own "Mike Keneally Band," and he just released a new album called "The Thing That Knowledge Can't Eat."
So, the real point of this article was to ask you to check Mike Keneally's music. I recommend you start with his album "Boil That Dust Speck" (specially selected for you "Horton Hears A Who" fans).
Aaaah ... my guitar obsession is just getting worse and worse! Somebody help me! Or was it Jim Carrey who said that? Whatever.
Oh, well, until next time:

Google has something very similar, but I just happened to be on Bing.
Don't underestimate Bing, especially now with the "New Bing" with ChatGPT!
Yeah, I can be subtle like that, Jim! ๐

As for the colour... that is lilac or purple as far as I'm concerned!

Thanks, Nick! ๐
Yeah, lilac, I thought so, too.
Let me know what you think of Mike's guitar and keyboard playing!
I saw him in a little club a few towns over from me, and he autographed his CD. The guy is smoking hot in a very unorthodox kind of way! Think Frank Zappa meets Steve Vai.

You're most welcome my friend and the lad sounds most interesting indeed!
I always prefer a small club than a jam packed full arena when it comes to listening to live music my friend!
Rock on!!
