The Making of Fat to Fit


At "Fat to Fit," our journey began not with a finished product, but with a powerful idea: transformation is possible for everyone. We knew we wanted to create more than just a fitness website. We wanted to build a movement, a community, and a symbol of what’s possible when you commit to yourself.


Step 1: The Spark of an Idea

It all started with a simple but bold statement: "From Fat to Fit." We wanted a brand that was authentic, relatable, and motivational. No gimmicks. No unrealistic promises. Just real transformation, one step at a time.


Step 2: Designing the Identity

We envisioned a clean, powerful look. One that captures both strength and simplicity. Our first logo, created with the help of GPTs, combined bold typography with a dynamic, energetic character. It represented the spirit of a fitness journey: the commitment, the evolution, the strength gained both inside and out.

But we didn’t stop there.

Through creative brainstorming, we developed a refined, minimalist logo: bold white text on a navy blue background, accented by a vibrant green dumbbell. This design symbolized our mission perfectly: strong, focused, energized, and clear.

Step 3: Crafting the Message

Words matter. Every phrase we chose, from "Real Results, Real People" to "Your Transformation Starts Today"... was designed to inspire, not intimidate.

We created:

  • Motivational slogans for banners
  • Authentic About Us and Mission statements
  • A strong "Why Choose Us" section to build trust and emotional connection
Everything was structured around clarity, energy, and truth.


Step 4: Building the Brand Kit

We wanted "Fat to Fit" to be recognizable across every platform: website, social media, even merchandise. That meant developing a full branding suite:

  • Slogan and tagline variations for flexibility
  • Banner designs for different platforms
  • Logo concepts for specific uses (profile pictures, YouTube banners, shirts, and badges)
Consistency + Creativity = Brand Power.

I was chasing that keyword for one of my articles about 9 months ago.

Thinking about it, the primary keyword was ‘fit over 50’ but ‘fat to fit’ was in there too as an LSI.

I had no luck with it and my weight loss site is pretty much flat-lined atm. Haven’t published new content on it since 3/17. I paused it for now to come up with a better strategy and I’m concentrating more on my guitar site.
