Approaching end of Month 6, SAC
Decided not to do Vimeo. My extra money for this month was spent on getting a decent microphone. I struggled with the sound on my videos; this new mic has definitely solved the problem.
I entered this month with great trepidation, as I was very leery of doing videos. However, have discovered PowerPoint, which I'd never used before, and started making screencast videos. I love it! Have done four for my WA website and one for my niche website. I am just about ready to record a fifth one for the WA site.
My YouTube channel is established; would love it if a bunch of you would get on there and subscribe. That's the next challenge -- to figure out how to get YouTube traffic.
I certainly didn't think videos would be such fun to do, but am enjoying them...and had to get out of my box to learn that they can be enjoyable. That's all good.
I can say for sure that I learned some things this month.

Hey Fran,
OMG, I'm really proud of your accomplishments.
I'm in the SAC and was doing great until I found out what my kids did in a family business last fall. My website and the SAC has been downhill since.
Writing only 1 article a month... yaarggg.
Keep up the good work Fran and you're a beautiful inspiration in my heart and eventually, I'll get there...
I wish you continued success in your SAC. You are truly doing this 👍

Hi Fran, glad to hear that you are doing so well. I viewed your video about the Boston whaler and your life in Alaska.
I really enjoyed listening to your story - amazing. Would love to see Alaska one day. I was stationed on Adak in the late '60s.
Thanks again for sharing and keep up your great work.
