Have you checked, besides Jay's Live Class, what is written on lead generation sites here at WA ?
perhaps you will find a post or even a training. Paul already said it, you also can google it too. :)
Jay has some training on this. Recommends picking a local professional. Someone with high end clients and building a website promoting them. When you get leads send them to the client. After half a dozen referral call the potential client and ask if the referrals were valuable and if you wants to continue the service.
Since I have no experience with lead generating myself, and cannot add anything to georgejhaas' sound advice, which I would definately try, maybe someone can shed some light about whether there is more information from WA that tangates this (?)
I'm new to the lead generating ideas myself. I was just getting ready to ask the same question you did. Have you done any more work on this. I was just hoping to see if someone at WA had some experience doing this. I saw the response from georgejhaas which confirms some of the things I've been working on. Finally, I've been getting training on this from "Job Killing." What company did you get your training from?
Take care, finsfan.
Hi! I haven't seen any training on lead or a WAbinar by Jay. However, if you have done your homework correctly, that is, keyword search in WA or Jaxxy. Be sure that you have over 100 searches a month on your keyword, low competition below 400. If you have done your research is doesn't matter what niche you use to start earning money. I also assume that you have a product to sell the visitors that visit your website.
Another thing, who is your audience? Are only businesses able to use this product? Can individuals use this? You must cater to those who have a need for your product that you are trying to sell.
Bottom line. Do your research, buy your domain, and write articles that point back to your website. Be sure to have excellent content on your website so Google will rank you on the first page of the SERPS (Search Engine Result Pages).
Good luck!
Thanks George for your comments , I am still in research mode at this time and have decided whether it will be lead generation site or perhaps some amazon sites but thanks again

What I've learned from lead generation is this. Lead is a part of the traffic coming to your site but this individual or group have signified interest on a product but are not yet decided.
So this is always a part of the development of a site. Let's say I started my site with just content on a particular niche. Then people start to discover my niche and signified their interest by asking question about the product. Now, I presume I have the lead, not only that I am now starting to develop email marketing too because i have to follow up through continuing communication either by emails, and other social media that I can employ to talk to the person or with the group.
In my thinking, lead generation and email marketing are inseparable components of a growing website that it will naturally come.
