The fox that chases after two rabbits end's up catching neither it is one of those things The fox runs its self-regard chasing its self into the ground, without focus we are like that fox. Running around chasing this and that without obtaining any results of substance. The fox has a natural tendency, it is the law of averages if he chases two he must get one of them, surely?.
Not so foxy
As humans, we have natural tendencies we look for novelty and we are hard wired to conserve energy, from the days of being hunters and gathers and nomads.Probably why we are looking at online marketing we want to regress to those sun filled days of leisure and conserving energy, to invest on better things.
If we want to break with tradition we need to focus on outcomes, it doesn't actually take that much to shift from the 95 to the 5% just a little bit of work. Without using those over used words all we need to do is take action, in everyday language we just need to get stuff done. It is so simple as usual we are the ones that are very good at complicating things. So to shift towards a new lifestyle just start doing it. Something anything, even just a little bit each day, it soon mounts up.
Works well if we have a plan, especially if we write it down and look at it daily.
One of the hand brakes is procrastination, it is a natural tendency a lot of folks say to me I don’t do that, " I say oh really, so you are not a human then ".
One of the ways to sort it out is to focus on your natural rhythms when do you have the most energy morning, mid day, or night time at those times go after the hard ones the ones that you keep putting off, then in your high energy mode chase those hard ones down, keep doing it and next week they will become easy to do, then move onto the next one.
The other thing that can hold us back is that pesky shiny object syndrome once again we are hard wired to seek out novelties and new things call it what you want there is no escaping it.
For us it does provide a source of income, so we should give thanks if we recognize that flaw in the human psyche. Having said that it can be a handicap when it comes to all these delicious offers that arrive like a tidal wave on a daily basis in our inbox and one can not resist the urge to push that buy now button,
Light bulb idea why not join the club, jump the fence and become a seller as opposed to being a buyer.
Seriously, folks, there is money to be made and to be saved.

We can learn so much by observing, if we want to do it we don't have to cover the whole field, I don't know if you have looked lately the online field is massive, so if we can fight those human tendencies all we have to try and do is to pick one thing and do it well.

Hi, Sondra, it can be one of the issues that we all face, sitting at the screen the world is ours with the click of a mouse. I think that for me it is a work in progress being aware is the best place to start. I can relate .

A fox still has those hard-wired tendencies perhaps in the planning and the stalking the fox is at the top of the range why more intelligent than two rabbits, So looking on the field from the top of the hill the fox is let down by the execution of his plan. and his lack of ability to adapt and change the plan midstream. although he may have come up against rabbits who worked together to outfox the fox. thank you for stopping by and sharing your thoughts Chris.

Hi Rich you are singing my favorite song, I agree 150% , I spent years running with a few half done jobs on the go it actually creates more problems at the end of the day.
I leave the multi-tasking to the Wife lol!
