No QSR? No Problem. How to do Quality Keyword Research with Google
I see many members on a daily basis asking questions about a workaround for the QSR function inside Jaaxy. QSR used to be a heavily weighted metric that allowed us to see how many websites were targeting our exact keyword, BUT it was based on the ORDER of the words in the keyword (thus "quoted search result"). This is no longer a current way to do keyword research and I'll show you how you can go about using the tools we have at our disposal to still do quality keyword research.
In this tutorial, I’ll walk you through:
✅ The old way to do keyword research with QSR
✅ A better way to do keyword research using Google itself
✅ A free tool you can download to make it easier to see your competitor's authority
✅ How to use GPT to create a YouTube video that can rank for that same keyword as well.
Now it’s your turn! 👇🏻
💥 How have you gone about doing keyword research in absence of QSR?
💥 Have you thought about incorporating YouTube video to increase your chances at ranking?

Good morning Eric! Great info as always!
When I was downloading the mozbar a question popped up : "It can - read and change all your data on all websites", to continue you have to accept or cancel. I hit cancel as I was questioning what this meant.
Next I found this in the help section: Permissions requested by apps and extensions. I have provided you the link: https://support.google.com/chrome_webstore/answer/186213?hl=en#zippy=,high-alert,medium-alert,low-alert.
After reading this, I was still left with the question: Do I download the mozbar or not?
Can you please help me out with this and set my mind at ease?
Thanks Sir Eric,
Barb22
Sure. As you can see, I downloaded it and use it all the time 👍🏼
With any tool you make the final decision on whether you want to use it or not. That part is totally up to you. 💯
Hey, Eric. Great Video.
This gives me more to think about my future use of YouTube. I think I mentioned to you (or someone else here) that I want to turn my stories into Animated Movies. I just have to learn how to do it or find someone to do it for me.

One thing I've discovered is that sometimes I am ranking for other keywords as well, sometimes even better than my primary keyword, because no one is writing for that keyword (or not writing well). I find those by going into GSC, filtering on my blog post and look at the queries that are being routed to that page and their google rank.
Excellent point Mike! Once you have your content published after some time you can see the queries its ranking for and sometimes they’re not exactly related, so that’s another perfect topic to write on because if the not-very-related post ranked for that, then a post all about the topic will rank even better. And off you go. It’s why it’s so important to just get content out there because from there everything else falls into place.

Hey Eric.
I downloaded the free MOZ Extension. I'm using MOZ now and entered a keyword phrase into Google Chrome browser.
Just some clarification....
If the Domain Authority is 92 then the website is high ranking. If the Page Authority for their content is 53 then that page is a clue that I have a chance to rank above it as long as my content is helpful to readers?
If the Domain Authority is 48 then the website is say average ranking. If the Page Authority for their content is 43 then I have a change to rank above it as long as my content is more helpful to readers?
Is this the right interpretation of what MOZ is showing me?
Any page can outrank any other page at any given time. They’re not ranked according to DA, but seeing a lower DA post ranked high in the SERPS tells you you have a chance. If you’re site has a DA of 12 and you see another similar site ranking high this is good.
Ummm, ok. I get it.
Thank you, Eric. I appreciate your help.
Have a blessed new week.
Regards,
Monica
