Hi Eric, I have 2 questions to ask you which are important to me.
1. How can you reduce the size of the youtube video you embed in your post? I know there is a way as I have seen other posts where it's small.
2. In block editor, when you add images there are options to alter or add to the image - with duo tone, how can you keep the colour you select? I have noticed that in my previous post on Who's going to the Party? the tone does not save in preview, but a widget I did a while ago (black and white) has come out in the tone I set for it, but my images won't?

Hi, Eric. Do you know if additional icons can be added to the classic editor while in the block editor? I am using the Lasso plugin and the Lasso icon only appears when I use the classic editor plugin.

I haven’t used that particular plugin, but it’s doubtful that it’s only available in the classic editor. When you’re in the block editor try clicking into a paragraph block or other blocks and see if it’s either along the top with the editing functions or elsewhere. Chances are you just haven’t spotted it as it’s fully available for the block editor. 👍🏼

You nailed it. The Lasso icon shows up in the "+" dropdown. I didn't look far enough. Thanks for the push.

No prob 👍🏼💯

Hi Eric, how do you change a writing font for your post? I saw a website I had to review on and she used other fonts in it.

I tend to stick with basic simple default fonts and don’t change them. If you go exotic with fonts you take a risk that your content can look wonky on other platforms and browsers, but typically you can change your fonts in the customizer.

Okay I will leave them for now, and see how I go.

Guilty of the classic editor plug in lol. Thanks for this, time to change.

We've all been there! I was super resistant to change when block editor first came out, but I think if you watch even just a few of these quick tutorials you start to get a feel of how much easier the block editor is to work with, and even more so once you get your hands dirty with it.

Have fun with it!

Thank you for the lesson!

Glad you enjoyed it!
