I saw my face in a Google search!
So my site stats say I'm indexed and everything, but I wasn't seeing any of my pages or posts via some of my keyword searches, even after looking on the fifth-or-higher pages.
Then wallah! I use one of my most generic keywords and I see my face staring back at me. Now, granted it's a reference to my Google+ account, referencing my website post, but that's good enough for me!
As surely as a trickle through a mountain can create the Grand Canyon, consistent effort will develop into success. I still have a long way to go, but little outcroppings of evidence are better than blindly hoping.

Very cool, I looked up something the other day and saw my pic too...forgot what I searched but it was a bit strange to see that..Nice job. :))
The results you see may be impacted by you being logged into Google. This is why it's showing you your Google + link.
This isn't a bad thing Sarah. I can tell you right now that one or more of your posts or pages IS indexed on Google and as you keep adding more and more content, you can and will see them pop up more often and eventually many 1st page results.
When you check your page's ranking, do it through the Jaaxy site rank tool (if you're using Jaaxy) or you can try look for the site via your keyword, but do it through a different browser where you're not logged into Google so you get the natural results.
