Only do it the once and then give the platform time to update everything. I find that sometimes the platform 'lags' so I go have a coffee and a walk around in the sun, and when I come back... voila! Magic has happened... well, sometimes. :-))))
Or create a ticket for site support.
Thank you! I'll have to give that a try. I get so impatient. I expect things to be there instantly and I know that sometimes I need to just wait. I go in and try it this morning. If nothing happens, I'll get hold of site support.

Hi Michael,
This video will show you how to go back to using the Classic Editor (and get away from the block editor, Gutenberg). How To Change Back To The Old Wordpress Classic Editor -Laurie
You need to add the classic editor back in via the plugins this video tutorial will help you Wordpress 5 - Classic Editor plugin Martin
Yeah ... great work ..I must admit I hate the new block editor .. I prefer to use the classic or Thrive Archtiect for building more complex pages.
you have two choices - one is to add a classic block- but that doesn't allow images to be inserted
or the better one is to add the classic editor plugin
after this you want to go to settings writing and set it so you select the classic editor.
this will get you back to the old style.
good luck

Marsha decided yesterday that it was time to transfer her blog over to WA. She got it all done. Does anyone know how long it takes to transfer from Blue Host over to WA? Rig
Are you talking about transferring the domain name? If so go to whois.net and type the domain name in there. Take a look at the name servers. Does it still show Blue Host's or WA's servers?
A domain transfer shouldn't take long. Did you provide the EPP transfer code?
As for the site itself...how are you migrating that over? Did you engage Site Support to do it or did you do it yourself?
Marsha here. I went to the Websites - Domains and used the Domain Transfer. I had the EPP code and unlocked the site over at Blue Host.
Silly me thought that was all I needed to do. Should I have gotten in touch with Support to do it?
That should transfer the domain but not the site itself. If you have a site there you should open a ticket with Site Support. I believe they have a move or transfer option.
