How can you become a successful blogger by going offline ?

Sounds contradictory as we have to be online to blog right?

Good thinking direction!

But I'm going to share just two things you need to do offline that will (without doubt) help you massively as a blogger to become successful.

This doesn't depend on your level of experience in blogging. You can do it and after reading this post, start making plans.

Your success in blogging is affected by a couple of factors:

  • The technology you use
  • The content you produce
  • The people you connect with
  • The traffic you get
  • Your monetizing strategies
  • Etc

Going offline will help in a couple of these factors.

2 offline activities to boost your blogging.

1) Organize blogging events

Call it conference, serminar, meetup, etc. It's up to you. But here is the point...

A lot of people around you don't really know about blogging. Some have just an idea and you need to help them.

Depending on the type of offline event you do, that will be a huge opportunity to get noticed and draw a lot of attention to yourself and your blog.

What if you are new with no experience?

It doesn't matter because there is always a first time for everybody. You need to start from the beginning. Work with someone who has the experience. Or someone to help with ideas. Invite others to speak.

The keyword here is partnership. The time to start is now. Do not wait until you become a pro. You can easily become a pro by doing these things.

2) Attend offline blogging events

Everyday, there are offline blogging events almost everywhere. Don't keep away from them. Attend those events (with your business cards) and connect with other bloggers.

Walk up to them and share your experiences. Have talks with the speakers. Don't be shy. Be bold and make your business known.

The keyword here is: Connect with other bloggers

My recent experience

In April of this year, I was invited to speak at a WordCamp (WordCamps are causual events for WordPress users) on SEO for WordPress

With over 250 WordPress enthusiasts ( From Cameroon, Nigeria, and Central Africa), it was an exciting event. I had one-on-one talks and connected with so many great people.

Offline blogging events are a huge way to get known. They help you connect with others and drive traffic.

Give it a try and you will experience some reasonable amount of growth.

Thank you.

Have you attended or organized offline blogging events before? What were your experiences?

Great idea, I always think of connecting with other bloggers but the problem if you are new in this business, is in how to find other bloggers in your area. I found this opportunity online and there is no one I know who do blogging. A stumbling block for me.

Hi bro,
Don't only wait until you meet bloggers. You can teach and create bloggers. That's a great way forward.

Thank you so much
