Great keyword? Any advice?

Hi awesome community,

I've been thinking about how much I love keywords as idea generators after Nathaniell's post yesterday on gaining keyword insight from your search history.

I spend a lot of time on Jaaxy. Probably too much...

Anyway, I usually go for really low hanging fruit in my niche that I know I will enjoy writing about. Otherwise, what's the point? For me, I need to be enjoying this.

Today though, I've come across this keyword that seems too good to be true and I'm not sure what to do about it!

Maybe it's just me, but I'm not used to seeing these numbers in my niche.

Is this a great keyword?

Is it too good to be true?

If not, any advice on how to handle it?

It's fairly well in my niche but it's not a subject I know a huge amount about yet so it'll need some research.

Those numbers look outstanding- which always makes me look a little closer.
Does the keyword make good grammatical sense?
Have you put it in to google to see what sites come up on first page?
Is the keyword actually part of a much more competitive one?

If you still like it after looking at these things then go for it!

Ah, thank you Dave,

This is the kind of thing that I was wondering about.

The grammar's a funny one as yes, the keyword does make grammatical sense. Although it may not be the best English, it does work.

Yes, I've checked competition and there are some good ones but it's not saturated.

And nope, it's not part of a longer keyword. There's something similar which is very competitive but not the same.

So, I'm cautious but I'm thinking I'm going to give it my best shot and create a pillar post with it.

It'll be a good learning experience at the least. I'm sure I'll get at least some traffic, and there's the potential for more if I get lucky.

What's to worry about, those are fantastic numbers, get to work on that word and work it in somewhere, use it, use it, use it. What has WA taught you, what are you waiting for kiddo?
