THIS Is Why You Need To Keep Going
Are you feeling like your posts just aren't getting anywhere, and will never rank?
I've got some information to share with you about my own website that I hope will inspire you to keep going.
I've been working on my current site (I just stick to one.... as they grow, websites tend to take on a life of their own and I've only got time for one) since January 2019.
Some of my very first reviews, that I wrote way back when, have started ranking recently, and getting some decent sales.
Many of these posts are on Amazon (I wrote them before the massive commission rate slash), and despite Amazon being terrible for affiliate marketing these days, I'm breaking my Amazon record month on month with these old posts.
Have faith in what you've done so far, it will pay off one day!
What else is helping me succeed nearly 2 years into this site:
I recently set myself a goal of 100 blog posts in 4 months. I'm 3 months in, and I'm on track to get there. Writing so much has forced me to streamline my writing processes, and it's made me mix up my writing styles to keep things interesting. I'm also learning how to better create new posts that relate to my existing posts, as I try to come up with new content ideas!
If you read my last blog, I shared a tip for how to find content that can rank quickly and be profitable. One of those review posts I talked about in that blog has now earned me nearly three times the amount I made for the whole of 2019. I wrote that review post less than 3 months ago! It goes to show that if you keep going, new ideas and avenues will come to you.
The more you can stay focused on your one website, how to grow it, how to think outside the square, how to gain traction in your niche, the better and better you can do.
August has actually been a bit of a dud month in terms of revenue, but for me a dud month now means I'll probably only make $1000. This blows my mind in comparison to where I was at last year, and I'm excited to see what the next year brings.
Keep going. It's worth it. You can do it. Your work will pay off.
