Finally, I Made My First Sale on AMAZON
Hello WA Family 👋 I hope everyone is well and having a fantastic weekend! 😊 👍
I just want to share my joy today. My website is 6.5 months old and finally I made my first sale on Amazon. I don't tend to check the stats every day because I realize how young my website is and I haven't reached the 100 visits a day yet. So, I only check my stats on the weekend.
Here's what I saw on the report today:
I honestly don't know how much I made yet in terms of commission for that sale or what product that gave me the sale. One thing that I know, the reports are updated every 24 hours.
No matter how much I made, I am still thankful and HAPPY that this works.
I just couldn't contain my happiness and want to share it with you all now. 😊😎💰
Finally y'all, finally... I made MY FIRST AFFILIATE SALE.
Before joining Wealthy Affiliate on February 19th this year, I did not realize the potential in making 💲💲💲💲 with blogging and affiliate marketing.

Aww...I'm jealous - in a sisterly kind of way....
I tried to get Amazon to unlock my account after they blocked it. Someone had tried to access it - so that's why that happened.
Thing is, I've been trying for the last 3 weeks to get my account unlocked. And time is ticking. So I've moved over to ShareASale and got approved by 3 merchants already.
I'm glad you've got a sale from Amazon - but don't be like me and put your eggs in just 1 basket...Diversify your income sources and join other affiliate networks as well. Because I wouldn't want what happened to me to happen to you.

I'm working on it...I'm having to pay for traffic at the moment, but have discovered the use of quizz bridge pages for marketing Clickbank products.
Putting up content is easy for me, however getting traffic and earning it from social media is still relatively new.
I do love Pinterest though! What's the difference between AWIN and ShareASale? I thought that AWIN was the parent company to ShareASale. I didn't know you could join both as I thought they were one and the same.
We live to learn...
Did Amazon email you why they block your account? How long ago did you join? Maybe you should create a new associate account if you don't get 3 qualified sales within 180 days.

I love Pinterest. I am giving it a try of doing ads with them these 3 days. It's still a learning process. So far I have 7K impressions and over 50 clicks and 2 saves. Not too bad for $9 investment he he...

I have learned from just reading the two of you dialogue with each other. I plan to save this on line and will probably start a hard copy directory of different sites that people list and other important information in case something happens to my phone. See I'm retired and had no need for a computer until today. I'm new as of today. I'm so glad I'm apart of this as it's opened up a brand new world to me that I always wanted to learn about but didn't know where or how. All you guys are awesome. 💙

Amazon got back to me and as I had opened at least 5 accounts by mistake in the beginning (in the last 18 months over a period of time), they closed several and left 1 open.
That means I can still promote Amazon products.
As for Pinterest, if you buy the yearly Tailwind option, you can schedule your pins up to 5 months in advance. That way, your Pinterest traffic will be in the severals of thousands.
I used Tailwind to get lots of traffic in the past year. I had signed up to them in 2018 for the whole year. However, when my account needed to be renewed in 2019. I did not do that.
However, because I had scheduled my pins up to 5 months in advance, I still had plenty of traffic this year from Pinterest and some of the viral pins continued to be shared.
My Pinterest traffic is finally slowing down, and I've got the funds to renew Tailwind (renewed today!). So now I will pin for 1 month at a time with more original pins.
Before I was mostly re-pinning other people's pins. It's a very good way to get noticed and to gain followers...and views to your site.

I have read and heard a lot about Tailwind. I will give it a try. Thank you for the info. I hesitated because I don't want to have another monthly expenses for my website. Since it starts to get sales, maybe it is time to do Tailwind. I am sure it is a great investment.
