Hi all! Just wanted to share with you guys something I have learned over the last day or so.
Rejections and let downs are there to show you how much you want something. Th
If your site is a sub domain from siterubix.com amazon will reject you. But if you go back to them with your own domain you should be accepted. I have not seen your website address but I noticed you have not been here very long so I assume you still have your free domain address from here.
Sincerely
Tommy
Thank you! I am still using the free website and do not have my own domain. Thanks for the heads up on that! You know, I just noticed that I have not even been here for a month yet. Just moved across the country last month...it feels like it has been a year! :-)
Hi Elizabeth I'm glad you are experiencing how the support of others and a community of like-minded folks can really take you and your business a long way!
The most successful people in the world are the ones that learn from rejections, failures, and others telling them "no". Overcoming each road bump prepares you to be better equipped to conquer the next. This recent rejection from Amazon is a learning experience and something that you'll look back on and say "no big deal"!
I'm really happy that you found us at Wealthy Affiliate and I look forward to having the chance to work with you and get to know you.
Great post!

You're very welcome. I know sometimes I have gotten overwhelmed to. Not by all the content, but just by thinking of all the work there is to do. But you just take it one step at a time. I got sent a picture today, it says:
If Howard Schultz gave up after being turning down by banks 242 times, there would be no Starbucks. If J.K Rowling gave up after being turned down by multiple publishers for years, there would be no Harry Potter. If Walt Disney quit too soon after his theme park concept was trashed 302, there would be no Disneyland. One thing is for sure, if you give up too soon you'll never know what you'll be missing. Keep going and NEVER give up.
That is the thing here. The problem however is you get discouraged when you are use to it. You put your heart and soul into your website making it good and you really want to get accepted but they don't. It hurts, but you learn that is part of the process and keep moving forward.
Wow! I had no idea about Howard Schultz, J.K. Rowling, or Walt Disney. Thank you so much for sharing!

What you wrote is absolutely true, Elizabeth. I always say that failure, rejection, disappointment are there to ask us - "Do you *really* want this?" We get to learn what we are *really* made of, too!! Cheers to your successes!! :)
