Once i've selected an image from my media library, where is the button to pull it into the post?

I think I see what is happening here, Elena.

To add the image to the article, you would want to edit the article and select the image from the media library. So you will be in your article and adding to it.

You do not want to be in the media library selecting the image to add to an article.

I hope this is helpful.

Hi Elena

Use the “/image” block, select “from media library”, then select the image.

Frank

Yes, that's what I'm doing. After I select the image...the only button I see is "create a new gallery" No..I want to paste into the post. But there doesn't seem to be a way to do that!

Hi Elena

If you're not seeing the button to load the image from the media library, I would open a ticket with Site Support.

One of your plugins, etc., may be creating the problem.

Frank

Otherwise, you would have clicked the button before you reached the media library to choose or upload an image. The selected space is where the image would go :)

However, from what I understand, you may want a featured image that will appear on your blog roll.

If neither of the above two options is available, you can kindly let us know.

I am in the block editor. I am clicking on "media library"--it goes there and I select an image...then there's only one button "create a new gallery"--No that's not what I want to do. I just want to paste it into the post. HOW?

Thanks! That explained what I was doing wrong...

It makes a big difference, but I've totally forgotten how to do this!

You don't embed an image, you add it to your library by uploading it and then adding to a post. You embed videos and that is a different thing entirely

thank you!

I'm trying to narrow down to one or 2 products I can promote to my niche market, which is seniors looking to increase their income in retirement. Lots of choices...a good prob

Tim has you covered here, except for the images they're not showing.

Hi Elena,

The following steps will help you save the offers you like into different categories and then filter them so you can see the ones you've saved on one screen:

1) Click on the star icon to save an affiliate offer to a category.

2) If this is the first time you've done this, create a new category and name it whatever you like. Then, moving forward, just add the offers to that same category (see screenshot A).

3) Click on the star icon to view all the offers you have saved into that category (see screenshot B).

Hope this helps!

Also, I would recommend considering WA's affiliate program if you haven't already, as that is a great affiliate program and one that (in my opinion) would offer the most benefit to seniors looking to increase their income in retirement and you as the affiliate.

Tim

Thanks! I found the star and was able to apply the filter.

I have 7 pages on my site. Google Search Console tells me 4 are indexed, 3 are not. But it doesn't list which pages are not indexed...where is that information?

You can input it on Google Site:[domain].com to see which URLs are indexed. - Of course replacing domain with yours

--
URLs with post names need to be indexed (actual posts)

Others with feed, tag, category, author, page #, etc... Not.

Hi - click on Pages on the left of your Console, and you will see a bar chart.

Scroll below that, and it says "Why pages aren’t indexed."

Each line will have a reason, click on that and it will show you which pages.

But do be aware, that certain pages on your site don't need to be indexed, such as your About Me, Privacy Policy, any legal pages, etc.

Thank you! It's exactly the Privacy Policy and About me pages, plus my latest post that aren't indexed. Now I know why...thank you!!

Can I save it somewhere so visitors don't see it? I don't want to delete it!

You can draft or delete it.

'Quick edit' change it to draft and update.

Or hover over it and click trash.

It's a standard WordPress message for new sites. It's intended to be deleted. Just trash it. Note that a trashed page or post can always be retrieved.

My website was pre-populated with article: "wecome to you started website" ?
