Living In Peace!
So today is the second day of December. I have been in my new place since late October. I have had a difficult time getting internet, getting repairs, and getting everything done to make it my home.
But as I was sitting here this morning and thinking I really am blessed to live in such a beautiful and peaceful place. Today I would like to share some pictures with you to explain the beauty that I see on a daily basis.
Now remember I live right in the middle of of a BIG city and this is a slice of heaven for me.
So here is the entrance sign for my great NEW place!!!
Here is my front door!!
And here are the stairs that lead to my entry way. I thought when I asked for a ground floor apartment I wouldn't have to climb stairs but these are just a few so I don't mind too much.
And here are just some beautiful things I see every
day!!!
A Pagoda on our grounds that is near the tennis courts!!!
A path and green grass that dogs can run and play in!!!
Well I would show you this wonderful view but the file is too big according to the website. So you will just have to use your mind.
It's one 3 level area, all 3 levels have green grass on them although it is starting to turn a crisp brown because of the cold weather. The leaves are also beginning to fall which makes it extra special I think.
Each level is surrounded by a group of natural rocks. These rocks are used as a retaining wall. In the middle is a doggie poop bag supply station. Owners are to clean up after their dogs. (Not all do)
There are so many trees surrounding the property I guess that is why it is called "Retreat At River Ranch"
Here is an example of a tree plus a rock retaining wall.
Now this is how one of my neighbors decorated their patio for Christmas. Every time I walk past their apartment I try to talk to these people on the patio. I don't know why they NEVER respond to me!!!

When we first moved in there was no damper on the fireplace. We didn't notice it for a few days but it was VERY drafty INSIDE our apartment. It took them a few weeks and much argument to fix it but we are better now!!
