Hi Eileen, welcome to WA and all the best. I would tend to lean toward's a passion based niche. I think when you are passionate about something you tend to enjoy and take pride in what you are doing and your niche will most likely have a stronger impact.
Have you used Jaaxy yet. It is a good way to find keywords for your niche and give you results as to how good that niche will be.
Hello Lesabre, thank you very much, both for the welcome and for the advice. As I told smartkeeter, the more I feel into the answer, my passion is in helping others to create a life on their own terms. Becoming a WA affiliate can help me do that.
I just upgraded to premium, haven't checked out Jaaxy yet, but thank you for the tip. I'll do that.
With gratitude, Eileen.
If you want to learn the ropes first, you could play around with a first pick ...
But if you want to focus on creating a "real site"from the very beginning, I suggest to take all the time you need to find the perfect niche. Otherwise all your work could be pointless ...
Mmm. Thank you for your response. I want to create a real site. The more I feel into it, the more I realise that I will probably do the bootcamp. I am truly passionate about living life on my own terms and being in charge of how I spend my time, so I would have lots to write about in terms of promoting WA.

Should I just pick and move on?

I don't think perfect is necessary for success. The niche has to be something you can write a lot of posts about. That's why a niche that you are very interested in/passionate about is important. Your enthusiasm will show in your writing. It has to have some aspect (products/services) that you can monetize. Beyond that, if you have several ideas that you're interested in and can monetize, I would just pick one and get started. Trying to find perfect is just another aspect of procrastination.
Thank you for your response, mistswitch. I truly appreciate your input. I have a passion for helping people live in alignment with their values. I think as a WA affiliate I can do that.
