Were you time-challenged but succeeded?

Hi, every one. I have only a few more days before I must drop out. My husband is thinking about eventually joining me in this venture. However he is concerned that there is a greater time commitment than we can make.

One successful person reported working several hours daily. Could I hear from some people who had very little time to dedicate to WA but still succeeded? How many hours/weekly (or monthly) were you able to put in here? What strategies did you use for time management?

I might add this, my husband is very favorably impressed at the progress I have made. He knows how technologically challenged I am. He tried to help me learn how to use a computer. Even though he is really patient, he gave up.

Thank you ahead of time for your help. Best wishes.

I think most people don't really understand where they need to put the time into when starting an online business and even if they did, they most likely get distracted by FB and other sites, then try and say they worked for 8 hours when they really didn't put in any time.

When you first start off, you'll spend a lot of time building up your site, but once that's out of the way, it all boils down to one thing. Creating content.

Depending on how long it will take you to do one article is how much time you will be putting in per day as an online marketer.

I caught myself wasting so much time changing the cosmetic part of my blog, when it's really the content that makes you money.

I now put in 2 hours a day, which is still what I should've been putting in even when I first started.

Don't include distractions and you definitely don't need more than 5 hours a day to be productive and make money. Take out all the nonsense and you will see progress with less time.

This is much closer to what I am looking for! Thank you!

REMEMBER if you have time to waste you have time to learn and succeed.

I work in the oilfield on the drilling rigs 7 days on and 7 days off.

I cant do this when I'm at work internet connection is bad and I'm always tired until I'm off I take my time go over the lesson twice and work on my website after each lesson a little slow but patience.

If using the computer a little hard for you get a friend or neighbor share this with a student or someone that knows the computer very well it will help and speed you up someone will appreciate you presenting them to this network.

Have a wonderful day
STEVEN

I am wanting to hear from people who very little time to devote to WA when they first started. But they worked on WA here a little, there a little until they succeeded.
Do you know anyone like that?

Like any successful business it takes time and dedication, just maintain your own pace and you will find success is more than making money here with WA.

I think everyone is missing the point here!

She is asking if there are other people here who have become successful working this business and only devoting a couple hours a day to it? How long did it take you to achieve this by only working at it a few hours each day?

Yes i realize that now. I had a look at her website, It definatly needs some color photograph i mean. the other thing is the text need to be broken up with sub headings (makes it easier on reading content)

Hi Jan,
She's not asking for a review of her website, this has nothing to do with her question. She is simply asking people who started out here with limited time (Only able to work on this a couple hours per day) if they were able to be successful here.

If you were, how long did it take you before you started to see any sales? Please take the time and read the question before commenting.

Sorry to hear your dropping out, there is no fixed time to accomplish what it is you want, obviously some people have more time to spend however we can still accomplish the same will just take a bit longer

Hi Edie,
Obviously I don't know the reason for you having to drop out but if Marty is considering joining you, you at least have an advantage over many who come into this business....that is your spouse/partner is supportive of your venture rather than being unsupportive or even hostile to the idea! Don't underestimate the strength that should give you to try and carry on.
I've read your page bio and it seems like you really could do with making a success of this for your family's sake.
It appears that you both work in reasonably low paid jobs and you say that any retirement plans you have may not be substantial, so you should ask yourself what else could you do together that would give you anything like a comfortable living and retirement? Would I be far wrong if I said "nothing"?
I really hope you can work something out so you can remain here, I'm sure you'll eventually realise it is the ONLY thing available to you to make things better for you and your family.
If you need help, just ask us for it. We are all happy to help you out and keep you on an upward path.
Good luck Edie.
Mark

Hi Edie, had a look at your website, looks good to me. Have you got your site verified in Google Webmaster Tools along with a sitemap? This is essential in getting your site and its posts and pages indexed so people can see them. Make sure your All In One SEO plugin (or whichever SEO plugin you are using) is correctly installed and updated where necessary. These are just a few of the things you need to do to help get your site ranked on Google. Hope this helps.

Are you new to computers? If you have got to this stage you can't be that bad at it. Can i ask you what you find difficult?

Good question - need more specifics.
