Staying In The Game
Sadly I watched my baseball team, the LA Dodgers get creamed by the Washington Nationals last evening. The Dodgers had won 106 games in regular season and was the top team in the National League. The Nationals were one of the worst teams to have made it into the payoffs having accomplished that feat as a wild card.
I heard that the Dodgers now has the non-enviable record as the only team in Baseball with that kind of record who got knocked out in the playoffs. They beat the Dodgers two games in a row, one at their stadium and the second in the 5th and final game of their playoff series in Dodgers Stadium. How humiliating. The Dodgers didn't even make it to the National League finals.
So how did the Nationals manage to do this?
The phrase I kept hearing from the commentators was they knew what to do to STAY IN THE GAME! Just think about that for a minute.
They didn't have to be the best team in the league. Or even close. All they had to be was just good enough to keep the game going. I won't relate how they did that as their story must be all over the media by now.
How Does This Relate To Us?
When we go through the training and follow the tasks we are advised to follow, we make progress little by little. As long as we stay in the game we do not have to be the best affiliate marketer to succeed. We just have to be good enough.
When I hear comments of disappointment that traffic is low, or no income has been earned yet, do not despair. The trick is to stay in the game. Meaning never give up. If we stop, then we take ourselves out of the game and will fail for sure.
What Does It Take?
Here are some ideas that should help.
- We have the best training in the online marketing business
- We have the best trainers
- The tools are simply amazing
- The support system is second to none
- Others who have preceded us in this training have become great success
Having all these advantages working in our favor, and this is a short list too, why would we take ourselves out of the game?
All it takes to succeed is to do all it takes to STAY IN THE GAME!
We all can learn a thing or two from those Washington Nationals!

I read somewhere that it can easily take a year of continual posting and work simply so Google know to trust you as an authority site and one who offers good content, so like you say you have to be in the game to have any chance of winning...

I love how you injected doing our best work when the chops are down. The chips were down for the Dodgers and they just didn't do their best work. I don't think they have staying power as this is the fourth year in a row that they have been in the playoffs and not made it.

Keep turning up, putting in the time, the work, day in, day out, consistent, applied, dedicated. Come rain, shine or wind. Keep going when others want to stop. Whether it's an hour or more or less, just keep going.
