How the heck you been?
Hey Everybody! Hope you all are doing great!!
It has been a while since I have been here. I have been very busy with my elderly parents. Hospitals, Rehab - back home again.
I know I have been MIA in the Blogging arena lately. With everything going on, I had to take a step back and evaluate what I was doing.
I decided, I had always wanted an embroidery machine. At christmas time, I had a nice surprise check and was able to get one! It has been a lot of fun sewing quilts for my grandkids. So far, I have all the blocks embroidered for two quilts.
The reason I am telling you this is because somewhere down the line I had an epiphany. I have been here for a few years now. Trying to do everything that I was being taught, however, something was definitely missing. I had pretty much given up and thought I would never get this stuff right. I knew how to do the SEO and all of that and just couldn't figure out why my stuff wasn't going anywhere.
I decided I would try again with an embroidery website. I have barely started building it, it is just a framework. I have uploaded a few items for sale, but just enough to peak their curiosity on what is to come.
I have been working with custom clothes design for about two years now. To do that, I work with a lot of wonderful graphic artists online. There is one girl in particular that I really LOVE her graphics. Then one day I thought "hmmmm... wonder if she would let me digitize her graphics into embroidery designs and sell them." I proposed a couple of different offers and we worked out a deal!! Jumps up and down with joy! This lady is AWESOME :) Can't contain my excitement!
ok, ok! So, that's enough about what has been going on. I have been working my tushie off converting graphics and getting them out to my site. I have one complete graphic set ready to go and can create any embroidery machien file I need. The image above is a set of her graphics that I have converted already. They turn out so absolutely gorgeous!
I don't think my epiphany came on slowly. I watch my stats as a habit now lol I am getting about 15- 20 views on my site each day right now. No blog posts, three outfits I think only right now. It has only been up for two weeks. How! How in the world is this happening. I haven't really done anything yet.
Then I remembered... Passion! Passion is so important with what you do online. Kyle has talked a lot about passion. I guess I never realized just how much it makes a difference. Passion shows through on everything you do. If you truly love what you are doing, then you will get a lot more done than if you are just trying to "fake it till you make it"!
I wish everyone lots of luck on their adventures and tons of success! Find your passion too!
Would love to hear from everyone and how things are going for you! Tell me.. How the heck you been?
