Three of the most successful businessmen in history, Bill Gates, Warren Buffet, and the late Steve Jobs were asked if they could sum up the secret to their phenomenal success in one word, what would it be?

All three of these titans of business gave the same answer.

What was the one word secret they gave to explain their success?

Focus

So, what does focus mean for us here at Wealthy Affiliate? I believe that focus means to concentrate on the WA trainings, forums, videos, on our websites, and building helpful, meaningful, valuable content within our websites. It also means to focus on one website at a time at least until it is making money for you, before you undertake another website.

It also means to not be distracted or persuaded by the next so-called great online opportunity that comes along. We both know that there are hundreds, if not thousands of make money, or get rich quick opportunities and schemes that we are bombarded by via Facebook ads, in our emails, and many other places online.

Anything that takes away from your building a meaningful, successful business here at Wealthy Affiliate should be avoided like the plague. Before you spend money or participate in anything else online, I suggest you ask yourself this question. Will joining this or taking advantage of this further my Wealthy Affiliate endeavors? If the answer is no, let it go.
